Use flash to illuminate the subject, then keep the exposure for the light painting.

Also cut it down, to that ^^. Going to a masquerade ball this Saturday and that was my first attempt at a mask, we'll see what tomorrow brings.

I tried to draw a car for practice because I've never successfully drawn a car before. This one is better, but the front is kinda fucked up. Ignore the irrelevant purple watercolour, just playing with some new pencils. :zoid:

Yeah I know how to do it mate, I didn't need telling. As I said limited to camera, tripod and phone. Didn't have my flashgun and the onboard wouldn't reach that far to illuminate the subject (ie me)

If that's supposed to be tilt shift, then it isn't too great at all. You have to get the photo at a certain angle for it to be a good tilt shift.
