Multiple. With more you can add depth to images.

I feel awesome since the leader for the yearbook staff actually went on about how I was the best photographer the staff has had in years. And I'm not even in yearbook, I just submit my stuff into the yearbook folder.
Lol, don't get too cocky though, Alex. In my highschool I'm also considered the best photographer and it's not really a hard feat to accomplish during highschool years. (The yearbook staff is also using my shit and I'm not even directly working for them)

Yeah, but I do have to admit the yearbook staff does take pretty bad photos. When I was at the football game, I asked one of the staff if I could see their photos. And their stuff was all blurry despite the fact they were using really good cameras.

Oh man, those colours are lovely. It's nice too see a pretty orange and blue contrast since it's usually not that nice.

Well obviously the way cameras are playing on the market it's all about megapixels and autofunctions that will make your photo instantly awesome. And well, when you know jack shit about photos and love every image with lot's of blur around a crisp focus, no matter what it is then you'll easily fall into that trap.
And well I still get those vibes "If only I had a better camera" even though the Nikon D60 is actually really nice and it's more about the lenses anyways.

And beside the fact that you get so much more freedom with lenses. Everything you do is manual (focusing, zooming, etc.). I don't have to depend on the buttons to get me what I want. It removes the middleman from the equation.

I only use a damn point and shoot, but the teacher for yearbook says I'll get to borrow the best DSLR they have when he talks to the office about it. :dance:
Your point and shoot has a better lens then my DSLR. lol kit lenses usually if not always suck .
Jetlit afaik your kit lens is the 18-55 right?
It's a p good lens, I still use mine even though I have very high quality lenses.
