Laptop speakers never looked so cool, just kidding. I was bored; okay!
Is this about musical doodles too? I don't wanna start a whole thread
As long as its creative.

I'm trying to find a different 5/4 guitar riff but I can't. Anyone got any ideas? D:
They aren't models they usually never are. You guys have an expectation that because they are in a photo they are models. No one bitches that your friends aren't models why do mine have to be? Pretty rude to just claim I have to only take pictures of top shelf girls while you guys can run around snapping away with your ugly friends all day.
Because we don't post pictures of our friends.
I was bored... So I took this pic (from cellphone, that's why it has bad quality)
That's the lens I was looking at, but it doesn't have the AF motor inside it, does it? The problem with the d40 (and my sole reason for upgrading soon) is that it doesn't have an AF motor built into the body, so I'm restricted to using AF lenses that have the motor inside..
I have the same issue (if you'll call it that) with my D60, i plan to buy a 35mm which i've heard is the AF-S equivalent to the AF lenses. It's a little more expensive but it looks like a solid buy.
No one except tourists touch the bear, then again even they don't do anything bad to it. They just put their arms around it while sitting down with the bear. Huntington beach is a really nice place, so I wouldn't really expect anyone to do anything bad to it in public, especially since it's in the middle of a bunch of restaurants and stores.
pretty much. they don't clean the damn thing, however, and it looks quite ratty/old. i think it's even chained down. i myself have never wanted to touch it, it just looks unclean, but i also know that's because it's just been outside for as long as i've lived there.
it's not really a "really nice place" though, religious nut jobs and green peace hippies "IF YOU DON'T HELP OUT THE WHALES YOU HATE YOUR CHILDREN" type people are all up and down the pier area of main street
especially the variant of religious and political nut cases who actually stand up on a crate or something on the pier terrace thing
[editline]02:47PM[/editline]
that new shopping center, the strand or whatever, is nice though. really wide sidewalks, padded with that playground foam shit (like in that park in northerner HB). the loons and tourists haven't really dove into it a whole lot yet
Sorry for the small pictures, didnt feel like waiting forever to upload them. But they are all available larger if needed for whatever reason haha :)

Could you upload the bigger version of nr1 and 3?
Looks like you're abusing contrast a bit.

Good shit Brodi :]
Alright, whats the method where one or more colors are present, but the rest is black and white? Its like split toning, but not quite.
I'm drawing a complete blank.

All the photos I got with the Canon XT on Sunday, pretty much all unedited at that too.

You really need to expose your pictures properly.

I was getting used to the DSLR, I took that while still fixing up things.

actually the exposure on that particular one seems fine to me

I thought I snipped them all out of the quote, coincidence that one is actually quite nice.
You really need to expose your pictures properly.
But honestly though, most of the photos seem just fine on my monitor. And a secondary monitor I checked on as well, did you check your monitor?

They look fine to me...
I mean they're slightly underexposed. you can edit it easily if its a raw file.
But honestly though, most of the photos seem just fine on my monitor. And a secondary monitor I checked on as well, did you check your monitor?
I have a kinda similar related problem. At home, I use my TV as my primary monitor and it seems to be just a tad darker then the monitors we use at school for example. So when i'm showing people pictures at school, they tend to be lighter or appear to have to much contrast (sometimes without even editing the contrast!).

Yeah, I didn't bother to edit them just yet. But they seemed to be just about right.

Although I admit some do need some cropping.
Distracting border.
Yeah I'm loving the pics (again) but at first glance I thought that border was from PS's emboss filter.

Ah well I thought it'd be a nice touch of flavor, guess not. I'll nuke it.
