Hey, if it weren't for valve's wonderful 'Hands off' system with greenlight it wouldn't even be up for discussion. Fucker used steam bots to get it on there.

True, but at least they made a game. Even if it is horribly shit they at least put in more effort than Valve has recently.
Exteel was the shit, and Fuck NCSoft for killing it. It was one of the best early examples of microtransactions - You could only buy mid tier shit with microtransactions so "coiners" couldn't just grab the best shit with daddy's paycheck and fuck your ass raw in every game because money. I've played Hawken and it's not nearly the same. No game I've played has been anything like it.
Anyway, like the video said, there's no hope for great single player games from Valve anymore, and I know several people holding onto hope that just need to let go. Technically they could, yeah, but I absolutely guarantee you won't see so much as a release year for one any time soon. The writers probably didn't leave for no reason.
I miss Hawken. It was a game that was best in the alpha and slowly got worse as the updates passed by and its creators went bankrupt. It was then bought out and gutted.
I mean, great for the CCG community. They get a game pushing the limits(And draining their wallets) but for the rest of us its basically just a buried parent who died way too soon in the ground.
I am still mad to this day that they didn't even try to create a new IP or continue moving forward with another; as simplistic as it would've been, creating another Left 4 Dead would've been a great move.
But instead we got...CSGO, with terrible design decisions and DOTA2 which is...a game.
