I think it should be the other way around, with the titans being those cats.
Can't forget about Watamote.

I think that it could be played both ways, I would like the see someone put postal's face on erin's titan form kicking and punching a hole through the littlest titans while enjoying this being altered where the titans are the mods and the corps are laying down that cat photo on the roofs: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nwBHI2hQ1D4
An arrow points to the bald headed titan stating it's Garry,
Armin gets swallowed by titan Garry and Erin recall the time about post to get keys
Erin pulls Armin out of the mouth saying he's unbanned and voched for Armin to be unbanned,
Erin states how he's going to get the rust key and is going to post a cat pic in Garry's mouth,
Armin screams don't repost,
the titan chomps down on erin and a cheeseburger pic rewritten as can I haz rust key
so many ideas, so little time.
I hope someone makes a Venture Bros one soon.

Posting "That" Cat will give me a rust key?!
Watching these got me interested in this show. I'm not one to watch anime, let alone ones where you have to read subtitles, but this show is really great imo. Even if all the characters do the infuriating shocked look and gasp every time someone speaks to them.
character1: "Hey man what's up?"
character2: "guah!?"
character2: "Oh, nothing much."
character1: "euhaa!!?"
~queue 2 minute flashback sequence~

Read the manga. That's the problem with anime, they make scenes that took almost no time at all in the manga take most of an episode.

Yeah I just started like an hour ago. This is my first time reading one and it's pretty enjoyable. The only other exposure I've had to anime is full metal alchemist, which attack on titan seems to share a similar story aesthetic with.

Most manga and anime are trash, this is a pretty good one to start on. I'd recommend others but I don't know what your tastes are like.

I'd say most modern anime and manga are bad. 90's era anime is really good.

Maybe because only the good ones from that era are remembered?

90s era had a lot of shit too, though. This generation has Cromartie High, Bobobo-bo-bobobo, and a couple other funny or otherwise good noteworthy anime and manga.
I prefer the older stuff myself, anything by Osamu Tezuka is golden. Fist of the North Star is a classic, even though it's very silly and poorly written. Now where were we... oh yes, Attack on Titan!

There is a fuckload of good modern manga and anime. Your statement only works in your mind because time tends to cherry-pick out the best and leaves the rest to die in obscurity. Hell, it's practically already happened for the 2000s. That and most people who don't really keep up with anime and stuff are going to mainly recognise the nineties stuff.
If you insist that no, everything after the nineties sucks and I'm wrong, which I hope you won't, then you need to take off those glasses because there's clearly something wrong with them.
Most of every kind of entertainment media is absolute shit, this, obviously, includes anime and manga. Im not sure why people like to pretend other people think it should be different.
Theres also quite a lot of excellent shows, including FMAB, steins gate, baccano, cowbow bebop, code geass, and a pretty long list i cant be bothered to remember. I'd include this one but i need to see how it ends first, so many decent shows have just fucked themselves over by the end.

I've been watching the anime too even though I'm not at all into anime. I like it so far, though I've had my years worth of shaking eyeballs and gasps when ANYTHING happens.

If you've ever seen girlchan in paradise, it captures pretty much everything that turns me off from anime.

If you enjoy reading Attack on Titan I definitely recommend picking up the official translations of Beserk by Dark horse comics. Beserk is absolutely amazing and is probably one of the best series out there. Whatever you do, do not read anything online. Most websites that have Beserk in english were translated by The Hawks and they did a horrible job at it.
