went to a party last night, a fleet of guys in balaclavas pulled up with swords and combat knives and started slashing people, some guy pulled a gun and fired a few shots too you hear about this sort of shit but never expect it to happen to you
I can't even comprehend that happening. Whereabouts in the UK do you live that'd be so violent and include gun-crime? That's pretty awful and I'm glad you're okay.
Apparently swords are in. I've been hearing an increase of crime being committed with swords here in Canada. Enough that residents talk about wanting permits for owning swords. I don't know if that will actually happen though. Personally, I'm not heavily threatened by swords. I don't think I've ever heard of someone with the proper technique or ability with a sword, who uses it for crime. Quite frankly, I'm pretty sure anyone with half a mind realizes that swords are not exactly an opportune weapon of choice.
Wouldn't you just use a sword like a giant knife? Just stab/slash method would most likely work. Obviously a gun would be better for crime, but still.
I use Swype for my android keyboard, makes driving and texting easy
I use Google Now. Basically, I just announce out loud, "Ok, Google. Text <name>, the message, <message>.". Then it shows what it gathered from your command, and asks to confirm the send off. Then when you receive messages, you can see them while they display in the notification area. I usually have my GPS set to something too while I'm driving, so when it sends, I just say, "Ok, Google. Open (Google) Maps.", and it resumes my GPS. [editline]12th October 2014[/editline]
Wouldn't you just use a sword like a giant knife? It's much more suited, and much more discrete. A sword is much harder to handle, carry about, and use successfully. It's only bonus would be the shock value it provides. You could cause much more damage with a knife in a more timely manner. A sword is better if your fighting off a horde of people, for one or a few people, you're much better off with a knife or dagger.

I'd assume, like you said, it was for the shock factor. If someone walked up to my car holding a sword in a mask I don't know how I would react really.

Any object can deflect a sword attack, and you have that extra time to prepare for it. In any case, milliseconds can make a huge difference. If someone comes up to shank you with a 6-10" blade, chances are you may not even see it coming. Can't exactly miss someone brandishing a sword. I'm not saying that swords are no big deal; just that out of most weapons they could have brought, you've got a much better chance of making it out with little to no harm.
People nowadays have such a romantic notion about the 60's. In reality it was a really tumultuous and violent time. For anyone interested check out the book 33 Revolutions per Minute, or the movie Easy Rider.

Then boot it the fuck out of there, hell run them over if you have to, there's nothing they can do with a sword to prevent you running them down. I doubt if you end up in court over it, a judge will say you could have done anything different, what with them blocking the road in all.

So my parents took me out to dinner at the 99 and as we were leaving, a homeless man approached us and politely said "Excuse me-" but my father cut him off and said "We're all set" before ignoring him. I looked at the man and said "what's wrong?" and he seemed angry "you can't help out a marine veteran?" I checked my pockets even though I had no cash or change on me, then apologized and got into the car. My mom scolded me for talking to the guy, insisting that he's a drug addict and all he wants to do is get high. My dad supported her, and I went off on them. I asked my mom what his name is, what he's addicted to, and how many times she's seen him around before. She ignored my questions, obviously unable to answer any of them, and insisted that "all homeless people are drug addicts". I was amazed and told her that was an incredibly ignorant and closed-minded statement. She laughed in my face and told me I was ignorant for thinking otherwise. I asked her why she thinks like that and I asked my dad why he couldn't just talk to the guy like he's another human being, with compassion, and courtesy, but they told me I don't understand. They told me one day I'm gonna "Wake up", as if I'm the one sleeping. This is why I can't listen to my parents, because they're ignorant bigots who know very little but have plenty of opinions on others. [editline]12th October 2014[/editline] They also tried to get me to believe that once you're a drug addict, you'll never be able to be normal again, regardless of the drug you were addicted to. Then when I tried to get in a rebuttal they told me that I don't know everything and again that I need to "wake up"

Something like "okay you think all beggars should be treated like this, let me see what so and so thinks of it". Something to give some perspective on their own views, then again chances are they are so entrenched anyway or the people they talk to are just as close minded.
They work in the ER so they do see homeless drug addicts often but I tried to explain that it's fallacious to make the assumption that because a lot of homeless people may be drug addicts, all homeless people must be drug addicts. I told them that correlation does not equal causation, I even tried to explain what I learned in sociology about homelessness and the three main discourses on it, only 1 being addiction. They didn't listen, they just like to live in their own little world. It's not my job to convince them but I tried my hardest
I've regained genuine happiness i've missed this feeling I hope it sticks around for some extended period of time, at the moment it feels quite unconditional and lovely, my pupils are larger than usual, my eyes seem to have more colour, i'm legitimately just... content, and happy with things in general again, I don't remember the last time I felt quite like this
low tolerance + super res ball (this shit was SLIMY, musta been stuck in the bowl-neck for years. You can FEEL the bowl hitting much more easily. Plus im baked for free. Everybody should clean out their bowls regularly for this gooey thc goodness.
Just need to finish one essay by wednesday... Must fight fever long enough to write 300 more words...
I just ate half a dozen jello shots.
I really like this instant release Focalin, and I'm not even using it in a way that would be classified as "abuse" It just feels like it puts my brain back into a very "normal" state, where I'm not tired, distracted, or feeling off in any way Even if I'm pretty high it gets me feeling clear-headed and in control within 3 minutes
And the Jack is back. Fuck yes. But they're so bigoted and close minded they get disgusted at seeing/hearing blacks on TV, or any gay or lesbian actions. As soon as two girls or guys kiss, they go "Fucking gross, do they have to show that shit on TV?". There was a homeless guy who was trying to score any money he could, but I don't have any money currently, my brother gave him $10. I don't think he should have, cause I believe the guy was lying to us. I don't interact or much less do favors for people whose immediate interaction is a lie. He pleaded that he wasn't a useless stinkin' bum and such, that he was out of work because of an accident, has a metal leg and such. But he was too keen on his song and dance routine, even said we were good to him, so he'll leave us with a joke, and said some silly joke. He was saying in his big speech about how he was up at some other place, up at a beach or what ever, and he was trying to get money from people there. You'd need to see him in action to get what I'm talking about (also because I have bad memory, so specific details and giveaways aren't memorable atm), he seemed very rehearsed and eager to go on in a tale. It seemed a lot like a sales pitch. I don't think he was a drug addict though, so that still disproves your parents theory. I think he just doesn't want to work, and makes enough money from giving on a spiel. I've got two monitors both split in half with different things going on. Two browsers both with over 6 tabs, two scripting languages, then I've got chat windows, and music going. On top of that, I'm actively thinking about completely unrelated shit, and I've started a glass of Jack. Maybe that will help streamline my thoughts.
Nothing better than getting stoned and playing sum vidya with bros Smash bros being the game of choice
yep can confirm thats all i do
I have mad empathy for homeless people, but I have a lot more respect for those who do something to better their situation. Like a dude collecting bottles, selling bracelets, etc A lot less respect for people with the whole song and dance routine
I don't believe all homeless people are drug addicts, but a lot of them are mad sketchy. This year in college, a homeless guy has wandered into my fraternity house twice, so so much for keeping the door open for a nice breeze. There's no way the person I hear digging through our dumpster at 3 am doesn't have an opiate withdrawal. So I say if your going to help homeless in general, I wouldn't with money. A lot can be said by their shoes too. Can't seem to find a mix with hard alcohol that doesn't seem to make me shudder hard besides some mixes with jager. My body just seems to reject high concentration. Yesterday I tried mixing blueberry izzie soda with vodka after someone though it might mix well, but it was horrible, masked the alcohol well I think, but it was so bitter. Would like to figure this out, as I feel very out of touch being far away from the level that almost everyone else is at sometimes. Strangely cheap beer seems the easiest to drink.
just got my hand on some 60mg vyvance
So I ended up getting hooked up with some high level mersh today, 20 bucks for about 9gs. I usually wouldn't buy mersh, but this was a great fucking deal. Super dense, and it also looks pretty nice. I'm gonna smoke a bowl and then we'll all know if it's actually good. This whole experience really brings me back to my highschool days of brick weed. I've gotta say, this shit looks a lot better.
Can't keep my eye from the circling sky. Tongue-tide and twisted, just an Earth bound misfit, I. [editline]13th October 2014[/editline]
just got my hand on some 60mg vyvance
I was on 20mg of that for a while, then my dose was raised to 30 or 40 mg after two weeks. The first time took the 20mg I felt a neat high, and it was fun. Then after two weeks of taking that, I took the next dosage. The first day of taking that, I felt so fucking bad. My head was killing me, I felt nauseous I didn't want to move or do anything, it was so fucking bad. That morning, I was perfectly fine, so I know it was the meds. Though the next day I took that dosage, I didn't get a buzz or feel ill at all. No idea why it hit me so wrong the first day.
I've been really high and I just started watching this
has time ever gone backwards on you guys? I coulda swore I got to the 4:20 point a while ago, with like certainty I double checked check again, it's now 4pm sleep deprivation is a fierce foe

Were they targeting gang members or are they just sick'eds? Sounds intense for an un-targeted attack.
And suddenly it's 5am, what the fuck?
dude i know what the fuck
