[QUOTE=Charrax;46903888]Check out Fruit of the Gods. I just recommended it to someone. Definitely going to now
Ran into an old mate today which i havent seen for a very long time Told him about being diagnosed adhd etc after all these years his response 'It was pretty obvious wasnt it?' It was quite relieving to hear that, i will admit Speaking from a purely anecdotal perspective though im still beyond surprised im actually prescribed stimulants, its just weird to try to get my head around the fact. I dont think ive quite taken the situation on board fully beyond the whimsical surface layer. Being off medication sucks in a lot of ways but im having fun being my crazy self for now so im happy at least, for now, but the time off is giving me room to get my head on as straight as possible about things so i should be alright [editline]11th January 2015[/editline] I am quite tipsy at the moment

working out this ftl travel thing assuming current computer technology persists through the next billion or so years people are eventually going to start typing insanely fast, eventually breaking the speed of light so what we do is get a space shuttle, use it to type and travel through space on a keyboard the only flaw is someone has to be typing the whole time

Or well... very comfortable.
I'm currently taking a bit of a T-Break because my guy is waiting to be restocked. He told me it'd be a week or two from last Wednesday. This is the second time this has happened in the last two months, which kinda sucks because he's usually pretty reliable. I wonder what's going on with the distributor--my initial thoughts were it's gotta be due to the season; but even then, this time last year he had no issues keeping stocked. The good thing about this is that I'm saving some cash, building up tolerance again and by the time he does restock I'll just go ahead and buy an ounce or so. LEading up to passing out though was amazing; I was so relaxed and comfortable.
this insatiable thirst for information, most of it doesn't even get processed

Spent sunday morning eating cold KFC chips in somebodies bathroom/shower combo thing after having no sleep, 0/10 do not recommend On the way back home I had to stop the bus so I could get off and throw up on a main road, I wasn't sure what to do with the newly acquired pile of sick so I just played it cool and walked home

Poppy seed tee, two bowls, a few hand rolled cigs and a cup of coffee. Have found my new love. Just have to make sure I don't get hooked.
Are CBD extracts really legal?
Terence McKenna may have been smart, but he was ultimately a crackpot. Take anything he ever said with a grain of salt.
[QUOTE=Mr._N;46908294]Terence McKenna may have been smart, but he was ultimately a crackpot. Take anything he ever said with a grain of salt.[/QUOTE] What he says is genius, what he proposed was suspect, but he was definitely on the right path
You guys ever stop enjoying or wanting to do cocaine? Like I'll do a line and I used to want to do more but recently I'm just like 'meh' and don't have a real desire to get hyped. That and I feel like it'd be easier to get pissed off or stressed out when doing it [editline]11th January 2015[/editline] Not to mention being a bit jittery isn't fun. I totally prefer things that open doors or just are genuinely more fun like LSD [editline]11th January 2015[/editline] Saving the last of the coke for some other time, and I'll probably not buy any more
I wish tag was a professional sport. Like imagine a broadcasted game of tag with grown dudes playin super cereal tag.

terrence mckenna is great overall if you filter out the predictive content of his thoughts what he is amazing at is general expression of mind in relation to anecdotal experiences and philosophy, it's very fluid, very articulate and in all honesty I could listen to the dude talk shit for hours on end without getting bored, but his name's a bit of a cliche amongst the drug(more specifically psychedelic) community, which is understandable some of his future philosophy isn't too out there, but what he fails to take into account IMHO is the broader spectrum of human life, the complexities of billions of individual conscious experiences which all have their own perspective on life, their own desires, needs, relationships, limitations whether intellectual, mental, physical or otherwise, really, his philosophies are great; in an ideal world where everything works 100% of the time in a predictable manner according to a single set of expectations and rules, consciousness on the other hand doesn't quite work that way, or life in general in a sense, he wasn't too much of a crackpot more just a psychedelic idealist passionate about his own perspectives and very articulate on it, no one can truly predict the future but we can make educated guesses, and his educated guesses may have been more viable if not limited to his own understanding of life; a lot of his theories relied on the notion that everyone evolves/reaches a point of philosophy/morals/ethics and general world view that is at the least extremely similar to his own, and that psychedelics could play a part in uncovering that part of self, and they can, but the underlying assumption simply is not something that could ever possibly happen completely worldwide at a single point in time; I feel his notion of time (as with the time wave zero/singularity theory stuff) is also /very/ one directional where as time it self likely has no beginning or end, in a sense I don't believe 'time' to particularly exist in the way most humans assume (though it is a necessary tool for the purpose of our existent day to day lives) but i'd argue it's more a phenomenon of conscious perception which we rely upon and only even really take into consideration as a result of sentience and the big questions surrounding life and death consider an animal that lives it's life, as far as we know, it just lives, it likely does not sit and ponder the questions such as 'why am I alive' or 'when will I die' 'when did this thing we call life start and will it ever truly end' as arguably they lack the self-awareness and sentience to even construct such concepts in mind, humans, being the highest level of consciousness presently known to exist through direct experience and tangible results of said level of consciousness, do not even experience time in a linear way as it is; your perception of time will adjust depending on what you're doing, how much your brain is processing, but the construct of time as we know it (in the 24 hour format, etc) is an extremely useful for tool for large societies because it creates a basis around which the working world revolves; the other aspect of that basis being money, time and money, both completely human constructs, both fundamental to the way in which we function as a whole. I think that's the part terrence mckenna had trouble wrapping his head around because ultimately, it is what it is, and any attempts to explain it will always fall somewhat short or flat, my own included, and any attempt to create theories based on an 'explanation' will be false as it relies on something that isn't a total truth, but it's fun to ponder, postulate, and listen to other articulates try to explain their own position on the matter, their theories, philosophy, but most specifically and the part that I enjoyed about mckenna the absolute most, as i'm sure would be the same with most of his fanbase, the anecdotal experiences which he describes, the way he conveys what's happening in his space of mind, that's the honeypot, really, the rest is just bullshit (not in a bad sense, but, fundamentally) because people were willing to buy and listen to whatever he had to say if I could sell a book worldwide for instance outlining how all systems could be considered fundamentally conscious, including electronics and large societies, and with a lot of strong basis points for argument I could very likely convince people into believing it, I'd do that and whatever other bullshit I could come up with to make people think about those sort of things, but it's still bullshit because in reality, how could I, or anyone else, possibly know for sure? same applies to mckenna's predictive/theory stuff, it's interesting, and it can be very convincing, and perhaps he believed them to be genuinely true, but it still falls under the same kind of 'bullshitting' label in my eyes even though I can listen/read it and be extremely entertained and mentally stimulated by it admittedly i'm a little bit high (not as high as I like to be but chilled enough) so feel free to rip those ideas to shreds if you wants,

what gave it away? [editline]12th January 2015[/editline] on a side note, I am so much more active at the moment now that i'm house sitting, i've done stuff literally every day since friday and it's unlike me to keep going out and doing things with consistency even with getting high, and some alcohol, i've been more active in the past few days than in the last month, but symptoms of ADHD have been fucking with me still i'm just proud of the fact because i'm feeling a lot better in general as a result it's literally just the freedom of not being in the same house as my parents I think, less judgmental bullshit, so much more relaxed in general, but it's to the point where if I start feeling bored, I HAVE to do something [editline]12th January 2015[/editline] in talks with a friend currently and I may be moving out soon if he gets this place from his uncle or something, because it'd make the rent easier to cover and because I want to live somewhere i'm free to just be me sooner rather than later
been drinking a bit more now that Iv'e stopped using opiates AS frequently. dunno how I feel about this..
Starting my first job tomorrow after a long job hunt. Gonna be getting up at around 4:15 and i'm home by 18:00. It's gonna take some getting used to (putting new electricity in a new massive building so it's gonna be some long hours). I'm glad i'm finally gonna be making my own money, but smoking some weed after work is gonna be difficult as my parent's absolutely hate it and i won't have any good time to do it. I'm hoping i can find a solution that isn't only smoking in the weekends or something.
[QUOTE=zach1193;46911972]been drinking a bit more now that Iv'e stopped using opiates AS frequently. dunno how I feel about this..[/QUOTE] Makes sense since alcohol and opiates activate similar GABA receptors. If you had a hard time with opiates be weary of alcohol.

Rather i never buy alcohol, it's just in the house most of the time. Thanks for the heads up though
