Op is talking as if he's in college but I somehow doubt he's 15 yet.
He even has a name to show how much older than us he is.
I'm sorry OP, but my mother says I'm not allowed to smoke weed or have fun in highschool
Actually for an englishman, secondary school (high school to you americans) is the most fundamental part, the tests we take, GCSE's and this pretty much determines the rest of our lives. The difference in job choice between getting all B's and all A's is amazing. So from my point of view, this is actually pretty much wrong, and I get all the fun and stuff, you can still have fun whilst getting the decent grades you know? What am I meant to do when i get home from school and on the weekend? Read science books? Homework? haha no. Fuck the police. Also, it sounds like you're giving us a guide to surviving the vast wasteland known as "Education".
stopped Reading at "I was a teachers pet etc etc mistake" Best advice for high school. Try get the teacher to fucking like you. There is nothing better than the person who controls your grade to be on your side. But don't be a kiss-ass, just do your work, answer and ask questions, and don't be an ass. second word of advice. for US kiddies, 10th and 11th grade. Get all A's. Those are your two most important years.
I actually have things to focus on other than being a dumb teen in highschool. You know, like following my passion.
Wearing women's jeans?
Wearing women's jeans?
god forbid he be comfortable while following his passion
I wonder...can I do heroine and have unprotected sex at the SAME TIME?????? This must be determined by (an) experiment.
Of course you can have unprotected sex with a female hero while you have sex with her duh You just need her consent How do you not "do" her as you have sex with her though
Chill. High school is like a negligible speck in your timeline. You have your entire lives to experiment and have fun, there's no age limit.
People don't like it when it seems as if you're trying to impose an already commonly held knowledge. I can see you're trying to be helpful, but there two problems I think. Firstly, and it's been mentioned already, you present a pretty basic, commonly known knowledge. Don't get a girl pregnant in high school? Gee, thanks, where would we be without you? Secondly it also comes off as slightly presumptuous. For example, what gives you the right to dictate how and what educational experience is like, when it's an entirely subjective concept? It will differ from country to country. From social to academic levels of your educational institution, its a bit futile giving of your said advice or priorities with facepunch containing such a diverse range of ages, backgrounds and experiences.
"Ask me any question here or PM me, if you'd like to improve your life. " This part just get me everytime I read it.
Don't feel bad about studying too hard during high school. It's far better to miss out on partying and learn to manage your life. I mean, I never partied, but I didn't put as much effort into school as I should have. I basically learned how to procrastinate. Besides, it's not like there's absolutely no time for partying or FUN once you get to college, though I would contend that schooling becomes of much greater consequence. To me, it essentially comes down to this: Is it better to miss out on partying in high school and learn to do things that will be useful the rest of your life, all the while retaining the possibility of messing around in the future? Or screw around in high school and end up floundering around in desperation and frustration later on because you never learned discipline?
I was fairly well behaved in high school too mainly because my parents kept me on a rather short leash. My senior year was the most fun though, and I thank my friends to that. If anything the summer after you graduate should be the time to do all the partying and fucking around without the worry of finals, or an essay, or math homework because you really have no strict responsibilities until the fall when your college semester starts. I had the entire summer after graduating to party and do what I like but as soon as college started I got a job and worked hard, while splitting my focus between school, work, and social life. It wasn't too hard to do though, I always found time to go party with friends and still take care of my responsibilities.
Ask me any question here or PM me, if you'd like to improve your life.
Haha! Judging by the rest of that post, I'll be ok thanks. Let people do whatever they like, the only way you learn is the hard way.
Ask me any question here or PM me, if you'd like to improve your life. Cheers.
I wonder how many troll PMs he has in his inbox right now?
High School is bullshit. I do no homework and pay no attention, then when the tests come, boom, top of the class.
High School is bullshit. I do no homework and pay no attention, then when the tests come, boom, top of the class.
Then your high school sucked. Sure as hell couldn't get away with that at my old high school.
I don't think I'll ever go back to education but if I do I can't wait for all the drugs, parties and sex the OP has specifically instructed me to watch out for whilst I'm learning. Who wouldn't want to learn if that's all there was to it.
Then your high school sucked. Sure as hell couldn't get away with that at my old high school.
Not really. The essays are usually layed out so they give you a text to study on the spot, then interpretate it to fit questions they ask, and sometimes they are "use x to prove a point about y" in which case I once got 100% on an essay about power in non fiction and fiction and used Hitler's dictatorship and Grand Theft Auto IV's campaign as examples, respectively.
I'm not sure if you're trolling or just being a fucking idiot, but that's some of the most horrific advice I've ever heard, and that's saying something on the internet. I cannot think of a single valid reason to do cocaine, ever, and the same goes for heroine and meth. Stay the fuck away from those.
Lol, why? Because the instant you do any drug you get addicted to it and weed and beer are the single exceptions to this?
wait, so don't be a heroin addict in high school? THAT'S WHERE I WAS GOING WRONG ALL THOSE YEARS
The most important thing I learned from Highschool, was that actually it isn't as important that you think and everything gets better when you leave and meet new people/go to new places.
I was a menace in school all the way up to the end of high-school. I goofed off a lot and it made me a lot of friends. I hardly put school before anything else up until last minute. Towards the end of high-school I stopped all the goofing and did what I had to do while smoking a lot of weed. I wanted out of that place so bad. Now I'm finishing up my first semester of college. First off, I barely made it here, with a 2.6/4.0 GPA and a 1300/2400 SAT out of HS. I've got 75% in pretty much all my college classes. I think I may have a talent for putting in just enough effort to get what I want. I don't regret anything I ever did in high-school. I dated a girl for a while and had sex a bunch. I experimented with cannabis and alcohol, and salvia and DXM (chugging Robitussin). Now that I am in college things seem really dull so far. I haven't met hardly anyone cool and I haven't been to any parties or anything like that. So I'm glad for everything I did in high school. If you are under 18, now is your chance to do lots of things without it making a permanent mark on your life. Just remember who you want to be and don't let anything get in the way of that.
High School is bullshit. I do no homework and pay no attention, then when the tests come, boom, top of the class.
Then you are lucky. When you get to college do just enough homework to pass, but actually study decently for tests. If you study for like an hour each day like a week before the test, you will do very well. I'm a great test taker too and I feel like it's a big fucking plus.
I'm in college and it's like 10 times better than high school was maybe you're just over the hill
It's rad so far, I just haven't met anyone cool. I have my own place and I don't have to worry about hiding weed for parents anymore. I moved to a different city so I don't know very many people yet, that's why I haven't had much social fun. But I'm sure I'll start making friends eventually; it's never been a problem for me before.
Thanks OP, now I'm depressed.
Lol, why? Because the instant you do any drug you get addicted to it and weed and beer are the single exceptions to this?
It's an extremely well known fact that cocaine, heroin and meth are INCREDIBLY addictive substances with the ability to quickly cause harm. Are you going to get addicted on the first shot? Probably not. That doesn't mean you should ever try it. Can you give me a single benefit of cocaine, heroin or meth, relative to weed or alcohol?
High school is ten times better than Middle school, but College is 100 times better than High School. Because at a college, people actually want to be there.
You would think that, but people skip classes at my university all the time. Honestly most of the time they fail their classes, and it makes we wonder why would you pay all that money to go here, to fail.

During my school years we only did like 2-3 essays a year. Most of the time they were tests where you had no chance to get a positive score without paying attention in class.
Without this guide I would not known I was meant to get marks and make friends
