I regret not getting the midweek deal on Steam now. also, CRAB BATTLE
The graphical mods look amazing, I hope they implement them for future games
Wow, this blew my mind several times. Holy shit. 1 week?! Seriously? Goddamn amazing. Also, now I have a huge urge to use audiodetect shout FUS RO DAH in my mic IRL to blow some asshole off a mountain. That must feel really satisfying.
Why are you mentioning that game here? Its like comparing oblivion with duke nukem or somthing.
Have you watched the full thing? With stabbed I mean that Todd pretty much said Call of Dutys game design is poor and made several jokes on that. Maybe I wrote my post wrong, I mean I am mentioning it because Todd did several times if you watch the video fully.
could i get all of these in one pack for all of my money please.
Best remix of a pop song ever
That song was bloody awful. I do hope most of these are implemented and are free, if not at least cheap.
Wait, wait, wait. In ONE WEEK they were able to add all of this shit, but it took them FIVE YEARS to make the whole game ? Why do I suddenly have the feeling Bethesda just took one month a year to work like crazy on their game, and spent the eleven other months smoking doobs ?

That must have taken some time. Plus, wouldn't the '5 years' include the planning and design? Also, I doubt there was much QA testing for bugs and balance issues from those things. And I imagine a large amount of time was spent actually making the game world. We do need all of that shit in the game, though. All of it. Yes, even the song.

However, I think it would be nice if more developers had weeks like that where they spend time adding nifty little details and fun things. fuck slowking ninja'd me
i really cracked up at made me want to be able to pimp slap in skyrim finishing move for unarmed
Oh man those verlet surfaces [editline]10th February 2012[/editline] A shame SSAO kills my cereal box of a computer
If this gets released, it should be free. The game was a horrendous piece of shit compared to what it should have been upon release. This would be a fine apology for us console gamers.
Imagine screaming FUS RO DAH into your mic and it actually happening in game. That would be really neat.
I think some of you are misunderstanding the video, They simply do this every year, If any, only bits and pieces of it will be added, and possibly none of it. There is certainly a reason why Bethesda didin't include dragon mounts from the start.
Imagine screaming FUS RO DAH into your mic and it actually happening in game. That would be really neat.
It exists for PC though.

They should at least release these into the modding community though. It's a massive waste of a time if they just throw the things away after a week.

It's canon that in Skyrim, the dragonborn not only befriends a dragon (possibly two depending on what you're doing) but also has the ability to shout his name for help. Why not developing it further and make it a mount ? Could just be to fly around from city to city with minimal control over it, it would still be better than saying his name, having him come, kill a few bandits for you then fly away like an asshole. Pretty much everything in this video could have been in the game, except maybe the physics based dynamic items things like the whip and the interactive banner, because you couldn't disable the option to gain performance without making certain weapons worthless, and even this could have been fixed by adding a simple animation of all the physics based weapons and objects to imitate the physics. Also making spears with a full animation set and then removing them from the game while quite a lot of fans are complaining about the lack of spears since Oblivion sounds like a dick move.

I can think of one; "Man, it'd be really cool if we could add this but implementing it so that it doesn't break the game will require a few more weeks of work which we can't afford at the moment. Maybe later."

Plus, the simplest stuff like spears could just be included, even glitched a bit, to please the community then fix any glitches later on.
I want to become a flying Vampire Lord :( I WANT ALL OF THOSE, especially those Dragon mounts.
Strangely I want the water details the most. That bugged me so fucking much.
After todd spoke, I muted the sound, basically, they used a shit song and added the arrow in the knee joke.
I would have been completely fine with the song if they didn't add the arrow to the knee shit.
oh god giant bosses, yeeeeeeeees I love giant bosses
It should be free.
Nah, they can sell it if they want, there's a lot of content after all.

Spears were never part of the game. [editline]10th February 2012[/editline] I want the graphical enhancements(flow shader) and the new dungeon things. Also dungeon currents. I would pay all my money for those. But they should be free.
Dragon mounts are cool but would be impossible in an official release
They would be perfectly possible with proper intelligent constraints. Allowing you to fly around predetermined paths and just enjoy the scenery would already be very nice, pretty much like a scenic fast travel function.
blocked in my country wtf
Same here, fuck you SOPA!
