Okay, first off: No one gets PROFESSIONALLY DIOGNOSE insane. Sanity and insanity are legal definitions as determined by a hearing in a court of law. Mental illnesses are diagnosed by type and symptom by a professional no matter how you spell diagnose. Also-- as I've been diagnosed differently by several different psychiatrists and therapists in my lifetime . . . I can attest that it can be awfully hard to pinpoint what's really wrong either way in some cases. You just keep trying meds and therapies until you find something that works for you. In my case what people were trying to tell me was genetic and a chemical imbalance turned out to be highly situational, and didn't need much medication at all. YMMV. /end rant
