I never really craved for cigarettes, cigars on the hand...
I've always wanted to smoke Cigars. Are they addictive? Because you don't actually inhale them right?
They are addictive. Nicotine is absorbed at 1/3 of the efficiency by the mucous membranes in the mouth however Nicotine content is significantly higher in cigars so to answer your question. Most certainly.
How does a 15-year-old even get cigarettes?
Like. Easily.
I quit earlier this year. was averaging about 15 a day.
Felt no urges to carry on, all my friends smoke, so when im out with them i will be surrounded by smokers, but dont feel tempted to relapse.
I remember hearing physical withdrawals last only 3 days after quitting, afterwards it's all psychological. Dunno if it's true

Hence Nicotine gum. Thank you sir.
Please don't go cold turkey. I've seen many mates go down that road, and they end up smoking again, and in most cases, smoking more than they did before they decided to quit. Nicotine is a physically addictive drug, giving it up is like giving up breathing or eating. You need to let it out slowly. Cut down to half a pack a day, and slowly force your body into letting go more and more. Even if you can hold it at 10 fags a day, that's a massive achievement and you would have made it much further than the thousands who quit every day.
I wish you good luck, and hope everything goes well.

It's not like giving up breathing or eating. What are you talking about? The only drugs you should not quit cold turkey are Benzodiazepines and Ethanol. Those two can kill you in W/D. Otherwise you should always quit drugs cold turkey because a short and intense horror is better than a long and slightly less intense one in my opinion.
There's a lot of evidence to suggest Cigarettes are addictive because of the habit not primarily because of the effects on the Dopamine reward pathway. As a result, stopping a habit dead is MUCH more appropriate than tapering it off because you'll just keep on doing it.
I hope quitting for you goes well, I've been trying myself and I haven't had a cigarette in over four days now. Does anybody know how long it takes before I stop feeling cravings?

Half-life is very short so withdrawal should end quickly but psychological cravings are unfortunately going to last forever.
By the way, protip: If you want to quit and smoke less, use Menthol filters. It increases the half-life of Nicotine thus allowing you to smoke less but withdraw the same. It's better for you to do this.
