Moon was fucking great, borrowing elements from other old sci-fi classics. Hopefully this does the same.
The plot could have so many outcomes.
Anyone else notice the Apple logo in the bottom right corner of the trailer?
Anyone else notice the Apple logo in the bottom right corner of the trailer?
The uploader probably just got it off iTunes trailers. http://trailers.apple.com/trailers/summit/sourcecode/
Anyone else notice the Apple logo in the bottom right corner of the trailer?
It's downloaded from iTunes.
This looks a lot like Deja Vu. Also I drew a stick figure comic with the same name, but the story was a gmod version of an HL2 playthrough, never finished it though.
reminds me awfully of inception in a way
Sort of yeah, but it has a very different story by the looks of it.
Jake's character seems pretty bland: going after a woman he doesn't know, as someone he isn't, and from the looks of the part where the scenery gets wire-frames, it's just a recreation of that world, and you can't change this world through it. And yet... I'm hoping for something deeper, is what I'm saying. I'll blame the trailer until we get an interview or something.
This looks good, but I hope it doesn't have the same effect that Vantage Point did. Every time it rewound back to the beginning, the entire theater groaned.
LOL, my dad did that everytime, after awhile, we got the fucking message. But we watched all the way though. My dad could of just left the theater.
The part where he decided he wants to save the ugly girl starting pushing me away
The exact part I went from "this looks interesting" to "oh"
Moon was perfect, I want this now!
movie looks generic by its trailer, inception anyone ?
After watching Deja Vu I hope it's like that but without those tons of huge gaping holes in the story.
movie looks generic by its trailer, inception anyone ?
what, no? [editline]1st December 2010[/editline]
I'm going to take the unpopular opinion and say that Moon was overrated. I'm also going to take the extremely unpopular opinion and say that 2001: A Space Odyssey was overrated. This is relevant because putting obscurity in space does not magically turn it into intelligence, which both of these films tried to do.
Someone didn't understand the story.
quick, somebody leak it.
I just shook my head.
Very much looking forward to this.
Looks pretty interesting, very similar to Deja Vu though
It's kind of sad that what people put as a joke for the twist, probably is the twist. Regardless, this seems intriguing. Also, I'm assuming I should watch Moon from all the positivity it's getting from this thread?
Sort of a new trailer, not much new footage. http://www.imdb.com/video/imdb/vi3948911129/

It's currently sitting at 73% on RT, far from terrible but hopefully it will improve as more reviews come in.
Calling it now, Gyllenhaal is the bomber.
Looks like standard, uninspired blockbuster tripe.
