I'm not as enamored with this movie as everyone, I found it pretty annoying in parts The black scientists' acting was terrible. Also, the way he could experience the guys' memory differently each time was just stupid. If Shaun didn't get off the train, how would Colter have known what the people looked like on the station where he followed the motion-sickness guy? The ending was also pretty half-assed in my opinion. [sp]It would have been much more powerful for Colter to have died during that kiss.[/sp]
It was sappy and sentimental and pretty damn good.
7.5-8/10 It was pretty damn good!
I concur. Excellent movie which I hadn't expected. Those who say that it would've been better that it ended with the freeze-shot, I'm glad it didn't. You'd expect it from half an hour earlier the movie would stop there, so I was pleasantly surprised that it went on going rather than the predictable end.
Everyone in this thread is saying it's great. I'll have to check it out.
So did the mission commander [sp]actually orchestrate the whole bombing? He's such a douche I wouldn't put it past him. IIRC he looked visibly distressed for a split second after he was informed that the nuke was found, then he's all "ah well, some day"[/sp]
http://www.boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=sourcecode.htm Thank fuck, it's passed it's production budget. Also, Duncan Jones is now doing meetings for Fox for a chance at taking over for Aronofsky on directing the new xmen film, Wolverine.
Isn't there already an X-men film titled Wolverine?
This is the second one.
I liked this film, kinda reminiscent of those old Whodunnit films. Now when I went to watch it, myself and my friends were the only people in the cinema, so that was pretty nice. At first it made me a bit concerned that the film was a complete failure but then I realised it was 13:30 on a Friday so everyone was at work. I love how the bad guy is a basement dweller nerdy person.
Not sure why, but it somehow reminds me of Assassin's Creed. Kind of like how he's in some sort of Animus, acting upon someone's memory.

Kinda funny watching it really, I was trying to figure out who the main actor was and where I'd seen him from. Just checked... ...Brokeback Mountain!

Just finished watching! Brilliant movie! So far, the best this year! It beats Battle LA and all the shitty movies! [sp]Really loved how it ends. At first I thought it was going to end with all of them being frozen. But it got better. Still, I would enjoy the movie if it ended with everyone standing like wax figures.[/sp]
Movie was ok. Duncan Jones really isn't the saviour of sci-fi everyone says he is.

I saw this movie when It came out, and I loved it, but [sp]it was kinda predictable who was going to blow up the train, you kept seeing that guy get off[/sp]

[sp]I thought it was the ginger at first, then i suspected it was the guy who left the train.[/sp]
I really fucking loved this movie, everything about it. That's all I feel like articulating right now
[sp]I thought it was the ginger at first, then i suspected it was the guy who left the train.[/sp]
[sp]It was the guy with sunglasses on the laptop for me.[/sp]
[sp]As soon as the camera put focus on that guy leaving his wallet on the train at the start I was like yup I think it's that guy.[/sp]. But regardless there was always a sense of uncertainty and I loved the movie anyway
