Still, it can't take that much resources to make an automatized "noreply@shacktack" with a generic "you're not accepted, please brush up your entry and try again next recruitment season" message and a big "This is an automatic message, replies will be ignored" at the top and bottom, surely?
Personally I won't lose sleep over not receiving a definitive "no" but it can't be that much work to implement, right?.
Perhaps I am underestimating the sheer volume of applications they receive?
I know someone from shacktac and he said it would be okay if i joined one game with him since i was sick all day long and it seemed like a good way to cheer me up. I had a blast, i lacked some knowledge of the game here and there which brought some confusing times but my friend kept taking it up from me.
Really, this would be a massive sperg-fest if anyone could join or if they had 'max X users can register per month' thing going on.
Guys there are periods (usually VERY long) When they just don't take applicants. Think about it. Servers have max pops and some missions have limited roles. Can't just hire up to the point where you have grunts standing around not even being used.
Reading this thread made me interesting and joining and seeing a 18+ age limit in the FAQ put a bad taste in my mouth.
as long as you're not a shitter there are exceptions
i played with them when i was turning 15 and me and beagle talked all the time, it was fun
Yeah I joined when I was 16, though I think that was before the 18+ rule.
yeah to be fair that was a couple of years ago now so idk what the story is, shoot them an email anyways!
It explicitly says multiple times throughout the FAQ that you cannot join unless you are 18 or older.
He just made a Q&A and he answers why there an age limit at the second question (at around 5:26):
