I cant seem to find the exact one I was talking about but it came along with this.
So Beast is unbeastified?
So Beast is unbeastified?
in the 70s it seems.
Or at least just for a bit. Considering photos of the prosthetic work have circulated around the internet for months
I wonder how many wolverines we'll have? We know we have a future one from the leaked trailer screengrab. We know we have present from the end of Wolverine film. Will we have past too? Will explain the claws. Also his hair in that shot is more like his X-men 1 hair than his recent modern day hair..
We'll have two Wolverine because Future and Past. Why would the present day Wolverine be the third Wolverine?
We'll have two Wolverine because Future and Past. Why would the present day Wolverine be the third Wolverine?
It's kinda hard to articulate, but from the marketing and set shots we've seen three Wolverines: Past Wolverine: Wolverine from the 70's. He has his trademark V-hair cut (as seen in First Class and Xmen1) and metal claws. Present Wolverine: At the end of The Wolverine [sp]Wolverine now has bone claws, he runs into Magneto and Xavier who set up the ground work for Days of Future Past[/sp]. He also doesn't have the trademark v-hair. So we know that present day Wolverine is involved too. Future Wolverine: From the shot leaked from the trailer. Wolverine had grey hair. That's three different Wolverines. I guess Past Wolverine could be Present Wolverine after he travelled back in time (hence he's in the shot with young Beast) but he was apparently seen on set with metal claws and present Wolverine has [sp]bone claws[/sp].
but past wolverine from origins didnt have the V haircut

Its more than likely just two.
I thought that present wolverine would eventually get his claws fixed and then he and future wolverine would be the same person
Filming is now completed
Now they have a few months of CGI.
Filming is now completed
Hey! That's my town!
Kind of tired of wolverine after the last movie. I hope that after days of future past they cut the wolvie some slack and go for more first-class-esque movies without a single main character doing all the shit with people going "oh fuck this is so cool logan" all the time. Wolverine is kind of like the hulk of the avengers, he's so stupidly op that you can't focus on him without just fucking up the whole film. It's fun to see hulk getting some rampage going in avengers but they did the right thing by keeping it to a minimum. Any xmen movie with Wolverine in it has made the mistake of focusing on the one guy with no weakness who can just fuck everyone up super easily.
except first class was just 2 main characters doing cool shit
Yes, two, not one. Two main characters is good because it allows for conflict and character arcs, and first class plenty of that. Other movies are just too focused on wolverine at the detriment of the story because there is no other important character for character arcs or anything else to happen. It's just logan taking on waves and waves of peons with not much tension because, guess what, he's invulnerable and almost immortal. Xavier and Magneto had a very interesting development in First Class.
So we see [sp]the coin that killed Kevin Bacon[/sp]
Oh I was wondering what that was, it's obvious now that I think of it.

The problem was Chris Evan's performance as Cap is underwhelming and not very commanding, Thor is kind of lost in the mix and Robert Downey Jr steals every scene he's in because hes the most charismatic of the lot. The end result is it looks like its Iron man and the avengers. Still think Chris Evans was a poor choice for Captain America, he does alright in the solo film but its still really underwhelming. It doesn't help that Cap is basically an uninteresting character, so you really need a strong and imposing actor to pull it off.
Maybe it's just because I've grown up seeing him play wolverine always with the cool and angry looks on his face, but I feel like it looks odd when Hugh Jackman has a big smile.

Here's that trailer [hd]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pK2zYHWDZKo[/hd]
Trailer is a bit naff and isn't really a trailer as it is a selection of vague images. But I'm hugely intrigued.
That was a fucking awful trailer. Made it seem like it's all about Wolverine yet again and the cuts were just random and nothing flowed.
Yet another Wolverine and The X-Men movie. Doesn't look bad but still
yeah what i took away from all the focus on professor x in the trailer was "this movie is going to be about wolverine"
