Really? Bias? Two small squads reacting differently in the same situation.
Me: 1
You: 0 apply yourself
Murrikans are just mad we have the most skilled soldiers. They call US marines " grunts " for a reason. We call ours " soldiers "
Stay mad Murrikans :)
Because insulting and fighting with your allies is always better than winning a war. :v:
they took the british army clips from gay porn. "here's how to shower..."... does anyone actually believe that's real?
It is real, he's showing them how to take a shower and conserve water.
Excuse me, did I say this? It's to emotionally bring them down to ground zero. They do it to numb the marines. How the fuck is any soldier supposed to withstand the heat of battle if he can't handle being yelled at by a guy in a stupid hat? If they weren't treated like shit since training then they'd all be breaking down during combat.
You mean break em down turn em into ultimate warriors so they're unfit for society when they return?
Real warriors respect eachother:

The first video shows a very aggressive, brutalising method of training, and the second shows a more calm, but equally strict method. When it comes to superiority, all that really matters is the quality of each individual soldier.
Now stop waving your cocks about. You look silly.
It helps to accustom you to being treated like shit
You know, drill sergeants do more than just yell, are you stupid
Can't imagine that's useful in peace keeping operations.
If you've only known to be treated like shit in your job, you're not really going to treating civilians any better.
Come on guys lets all just agree that these two funnels for disenfranchised or unsalvageable members of society where people play dress up and spend unspeakable amounts of money to kill each other to defend freedoms most people relentlessly abuse or never really take advantage of are both equally regrettable institutions.
I think that's a neutral, golden middle we can all get behind.
I am a United States Marine; however, YOU are just an idiot.
In relation to the OP video: Yeah, we all go around and do a little dick waving (especially when we are drunk) but man, whoever made this is just an idiot. We might brag on occasion, but I can attest that myself and all fellow Marines have respect for fellow soldiers no matter what country you come from. That's one of the main principles you learn in boot camp.
OH FOR FUCKS' SAKE I WAS JUST KIDDING
OH FOR FUCKS' SAKE I WAS JUST KIDDING
guyz i wus jus kiding im not that dumb...
How is it not patently obvious? It was a statement literally everyone could and would object to, including myself, followed by an obviously sarcastic statement that I was being neutral.

I'm just going to go back to avoiding all the spergtastic military threads

Half the people I know who work at the Emergency Room i volunteer at are ex-military medics.
A lot of cops, firefighters, and EMTs are ex-military, i've had probably a good 5 ex-military teachers during school.
Teachers are pretty useless though, as are cops.
Yelling and shouting has been a staple of American training. Plus it hasn't failed since.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
That's why the US Marine is one of the most feared warfighters. They're deconstructed, humanity is removed, and they are rebuilt as killing machines that will be thrown into the worst situations and fight until his or her dying breath.
This (My post) isn't bias or an exaggeration, it's entirely true.

Soldiers are in the Army. :eng101: You never call a Marine a "soldier."
As much as I love the Commandos.
There's a difference between Commandos and front-line infantry.
The same way there's a massive leap between Marines and Marine Force Recon.
My cousin's going into the Royal Marine Commandos actually, and they're ridiculously strict. He's got to keep himself in peak physical condition, and he hasn't even begun basic training yet.
I don't understand why people want to turned into machines whos sole purpose is to be sacrificed in unjust wars.
