100 miles isnt that far away. I had a girlfriend that far away and we were seperated by mountains with zigzaggy roads so it made the trip seem like 200 miles. I'm kind of in the opposite situation, I'm high-middle class, and the girl who I want to be with is kind of poor and she drinks a lot, does a lot of drugs, gets kicked out of her house regularly. She even lived at the YMCA for like 2 weeks after getting arrested at the London uni fees protest. But she's still a good person, and we like each other, but my friends tell me it's not worth it, that she's too different from me and it'll never work. In a horrible way I kind of agree :frown: I don't know what's gonna happen.

You gotta remember this OP. Things will eventually get better. I've been through some shit too, and I know how it feels. It sucks. If she still loves you, then you have to hold on to the hope that you two will be together. She'll be 18 this year, right? After that, she's an adult, and she can do what she pleases. If you can manage to hold out that long, clean yourself up, and pull yourself back together, I guarantee you'll be happy. Everything happens for a reason. You just gotta be patient and hold out for awhile. Block out the negative thoughts, don't commit suicide (because that would really hurt Amy, and then she'd be alone), and work towards some goals. Start taking yourself off the alcohol and drugs. Yeah, sure, they may make you feel good, but for how long? It's only temporary.

Just because two people are on two different ends of the spectrum doesn't mean they can't be together. Maybe you two being together will give her a reason to make a positive change. It's amazing how much one person can influence another's life.

Agreed with those who are saying "wait until you're both 18." I'm basically in the same situation you are, except for the friends, police, and drug part. But I know how you feel. Best thing to do is keep it low and wait until you both hit 18 and then there's absolutely nothing anyone can do about you two being together. And hey, don't be selfish and commit suicide. How do you think she's going to feel? EDIT: Well, my friends actually want to kick her parents' asses but they haven't collaborated for it, yet.
