Venom might be more directly a thing in stuff but Norman Osborn has narrative momentum where his stories had big overarching long lasting impact (Gwen Stacy, Harry Osborn, the Hobgoblins and all the stuff related to them by extension, stealing that fetus that one time, giving Doc Ock's girlfriend AIDS, etc.).

It's usually a toss up between these guys. As much as Venom is anti-Spiderman, if it's not Ultimate Eddie Brock where he was his best friend when Parker's parents were alive, then it's Osborn who is the true nemesis. He's anti-Peter Parker in a way, and that hits harder than someone who came mimic his moves and look good in black with teeth.
I hope Green Goblin's in the MCU...

He hasn't been Iron Patriot in years. ASM actually, Osborn's been powerless for a while after fucking up and becoming immune to Goblin serum so he tried to get superpowers through other means.

also fyi for those that don't know, this film will be "primarily" based on the "Lethal Protector" and "Planet of the Symbiotes" comic book series, which involved Venom (and spider-man, who I guess will just be left out lol) fighting a fuck ton of other symbiote-bonded villains. so assuming they don't do something super STUPID, you should expect to see a lot of symbiote-bonded villains in this.

i seriously doubt Carnage will get a full introduction tho, unless they seriously want to attempt another Spider-man 3 degree of too-many-villains absurdity. I'd bet on a post-credits tease tho for sure. because yeah this film is also OFC meant to launch a new franchise of Venom-centered films that would potentially cross-over with the spider-man movies if successful enough, so I doubt they'll go all out on this one with character introductions

I genuinely didn't know he was speaking words. I rewatched a video of the final level after making that post just to relive some fond childhood nightmares and all it sounds like he's saying is "Congrunt you, I'll die!" If he's ever saying legible words, I still can't hear them.
Whoever they got to voice Monster Ock was perfect and totally encompassed the idea of Doctor Octopus being taking over by Carnage.
