I'm going to give you advice here 343N, you're trying too hard to seem better than him right now and it's kind of embarrassing.

The OP has probably hung himself or whatever, but I think i'll give some CC. First of all, don't have an intro. It ruins immersion and wastes time. You have Steam friends popping up. As you said, you didn't expect it. But just redo the shot. Your characters hardly move, if not awkwardly. Stop motion is a good way to counteract this. A burned dead guy suddenly turned in to Bill. This is a large continuity error and should've been picked up in shooting or post production. The plot makes no sense. 'Aftermath' pops up, so you think it may be some kind of zombie film. But then a bomb goes off, which implies it whatever happened isn't over, so it's not really aftermath. Then you drop the entire idea of aftermath and have the burned zombie turn in to Bill and go after a PS3. Then he gets pills and so on. You need to improve on communicating ideas to the audience. There's nothing in it that makes me want to continue watching. A simple work towards a goal would fix this. You bombard the audience with memes used the wrong way. Suddenly a combine officer appears. That's where I stopped. 2:35 minutes in. The first 46 seconds are simply shots of the vehicle, and it driving a track, with music that progresses. This keeps the audience watching as they feel like progress is being made and that the vehicle is getting somewhere. The plot is simple: A vehicle exists, is used, then is destroyed. I communicated with the audience clearly what was going on, what they would expect, and what happened. When i typed that comment i hadn't been responding to just him, but to other comments before him, and i was agreeing to what he said, and i said multiple times afterwards, that i thank everyone and anyone who gave helpful comment. Interesting, Jookia, i like what you said, but i think you've thinked it wrongly, to a point. I only had 1 or 2 steam friend pop ups, it was occasional. I had characters moving but, you didnt bother to watch the full video, so i rest there, If you had watched the first video, AFTERMATH, meant the destruction of the nuke at the final part of he video, i had said originally that the second video takes after the nuke, and the zombie, played as bill, who originally gets burned from an explosion in the first video, turns back into bill, as a joke. Then sees a ps3 as a random, and spots pills, the joke was that he found pills and louis would attack him. Which is what happened. The bomb went off because it was rememberance as to what had happened at the last part of the first video, implying that the map is remnants from a nuke blast. A combine officer appears because he is watching the events, between bill and louis. Can no one here use there imagination? To much to type.

GeneralAring, you're making a damn fool of yourself. I don't care if you think that you're a directing genius, the video was in fact NOT funny. We've all said it. It was pretty god awful. You could have put years into it, I don't care. It's shit. Accept the fact that you're not talented in the field of Machinima. Normally, I'm more accepting and try to encourage people, but it's blatantly obvious that you're lacking in both the editing and producing skills, along with the people skills required to be a good video maker on this forum. Frankly, "Random" humor can be pulled off by very few (DasBoSchitt being one of them). It's a stupid sense of humor, but with the right execution, it works. You can't pull off that kind of execution. Please, stop posting videos until you've improved your quality ten fold.

Im not making a fool of myself at all. I think people who read posts, wrongly, are the fools, because obviously they cant analyse critically what a person said, and you just did the same thing, No party hats. I understand that you accept the criticism about your first video, now it's time to understand that your second video sucks just the same.

Ok, now i have watched it a couple times, so let me see if i got the story straigth. First, you have a zombie that does not know where he is (While on gm_construct), wich suddenly turns into Bill, wich sees a PS3, and is happy, then sees pills behind PS3, wich makes Louis come to fight Bill for the pills, then suddenly a combine is watching it from the white room, and then Francis pops our of nowhere and gets hit by a car. After that, the combine explodes out of the white room, wich is covered by a wall, and starts yelling (?) at Bill and Louis for fighting, and then Francis uses his AWP to shoot him. Then Zoey shows up, for then to never be seen again. Then, Francis shoots Bill and Louis, before going into a fight with the combine, who is not dead after all, and the spasm into the white room, where they are suddenly teleported to Black Mesa. In Black Mesa, the combine is never seen again, but Gordon Freeman stands there, and then Master chief pops up, and they start fighting, before some monster thing shoots a rocket at them, and then Francis turns into a girl, and flies towards the monster, so Gordon and Master Chief can continue fighting. Then, Master chief beats up Gordon, but suddenly Gordon kick Master chief after teleporting behind him, and that kick is repeated for 3 minutes with the This is Sparta remix going twice. Then its all over. [B]This is not a good story. This is random mess that does not make sense, and is not funny. You should really improve your story, by adding a beginning, main part, and end, and having events in those parts, and not random things happening all the time.[/B] Then for the video quality. From the beggining, all the movement is either one part that is not frozen, random throws, or random spasms. This is not really funny, and could be improved, by putting a little more effort in it. You add random filters on top of the video at some points, for example where Francis is hit by the car, first it hits him, nothing happens, he says he is invincible, and then a filter is applied... Not really funny. It would have been funnier, if the car hit him, and he ragdolled under it or something (Though that is not really funny either, but atleast better than nothing happening), and then not applying any filters, because random filters does not improve the quality at all, it just says "lolll so randub XDXD <3<3"... I'm not gonna write any more, but you see the point... The story makes no sense, the execution is bad, and it simply is not good. I have not watched the first, and i do not want to, as you said this was and improvement. I tried to add good paragraphs in here, but i'm not really good with them, so i hope this was not too "Wall of text".

In case you were wondering, Mr. Aring, IE means Internet explorer, the browser you use. I.E. Means In Example. In case you were wondering, there is a period in-between the I and the E, and another one next to the E to explain that it is a abbreviation. Mr. Fantafuzz did not use periods between the I and E, so he must be referring to Internet Explorer. You would know this if you had any sort of knowledge concerning the fine intranets we use. Meanwhile, you say that you never explicitly stated that you are a filming genius, yet still your behavior concerning this issue makes us think that you do believe that these videos are amazing content, what with you acting like a dick to anyone who tries to make a insightful comment/criticism, which instead fuels any sort of "shit vid end yourself" comments. Ok. What I'm trying to say is that if this is improvement over your first, you're going to need to work long and hard for a presentable video. Just develop a better story and take all the precautions that most Machinima makers do, and you may just be acceptable here.

My behavior is in twined, with nothing to show that my videos are amazing. Why would you say that, if you think thats the cause, iv'e looked over a hundred times of what people had said about the videos, and yet i said i do not care, for it, and it isn't even like that im going to keep creating the same shit over and over and over. So no one should think that, that is the concern for how i respond, because in this case, of how this thread has escalated, and how and so much that ive had to respond to, and alot in one post, to multiple users, who should know who i am talking to, at that post time, you only think that the concern of me acting towards my behavior as i post is how i respond, in this, it isn't if people could read, which from what ive read, alot of people had been mis-directed as to what i had been saying, because they said, "wow learn english", i know fluent english, that obviously leads me that they cant analyse what i had posted at that time. Which is when, then after, i get back-lashed for it, and this is how this thread has escalated by. What i was saying, fantafuzz, is that all along of WHAT i had been saying in this, thread which PEOPLE obviously mistaken me for talking about my first video, i have said multiple times, that i already accepted the criticism for video 1 & 2, but people mis-directed me for JUST aiming towards video ONE, which has now, after all said, been an on-going Battle, here, when i said that i accepted criticism for this video, too.
