Well that commercial took a dark turn
had an radeon 9600 from god knows probably 2006, stopped using it because i think it mightve been affected by a computer problem i had some time back now i'm on an pny geforce 210 from 2011, performs.. just about the same. tis quieter and not as hot most of the time though. should probably swtich back once i get the money for it?
Is that really what people playing games with headphones on look like? Wow, we look like bloody morons :v:
Ok than. Than didn't make me want to buy an AMD card. Something more informative would have been nice. I guess it did get our attention.
I'll buy your cards when you make it so they don't fuck over my computer when i update them :v:
I wish people would use sledgehammers properly, it'd look much better than that little love tap he gave the card.
I had an ATI card and I just downloaded their driver and installed it. What's the problem?
Now try doing that on a laptop with the official AMD drivers.
He should have been called "The Driver" and he drives to their houses to install their drivers.
He should have been called "The Driver" and he drives to their houses to install their drivers.
Then the commercial would take at least 20 minutes.
What was the card he smashed a GTX? aren't they like 500 quid?
Think that guy just needed a nice cold glass of lemonade.
This commercial has that same annoying Mac vs. PC commercial vibe.
This commercial has that same annoying Mac vs. PC commercial vibe.
Thank god AMD doesn't have the money to advertise on TV.
Had to stop at about 30 secs in the vid.
I have to admit it was pretty damn funny, but it doesn't seem like a very good commercial. [editline]25th June 2013[/editline] Also this: Haha what the shit
This doesn't make me want to buy one of their cards just to get the benefit of physx for hair.
uhh physx is an nvidia thing, what are you talking about?
Shit, even the guy in the commercial said "settle down!"
uhh physx is an nvidia thing, what are you talking about?
I believe what he was talking about was TressFX.
Ah right, that makes a little more sense. Still, TressFX isn't even a noteworthy feature.
I'm more focused on the crisps that guy was eating, they look so nice, like I've never seen crisps so big, is this an American thing? [editline]25th June 2013[/editline] Guys lets discuss these crisps more
Oh god, that never settle pun.
I thought it was funny. I'd love to see an nvidia response.
I remember being so excited when I got a decent AMD card to run Crysis. It arrived, I put it in, turns out it was already damaged so I had to send it out and get a replacement. It was an x2 card so the only game it worked properly in without disabling catalyst AI was Crysis. Then a year later I got the latest drivers and they fucked up how the fan worked and caused massive damage to my card. I'm an nvidia guy now, I would like to try ATI/AMD again but due to their drivers literally almost melting my card, I'm still a bit wary, even if people say they don't have issues anymore.
Nvidia beats amd in any way possible, Nvidia = top dogs of the graphics industry Amd = Pieces of shits who don't know how to make a graphics card commercial
What the fuck is wrong with you. It's a graphics card, not a political party you have.
I love AMD. Cheap and good horse power. My 5750 surprised me in 1000 ways with what it was able to do. Oh whatever, 5750 isn't going to run BF3 for shit. Oh it does. And smoothly. Well it isn't going to run Mechwarrior Online maxed out. or Crysis 2 on mostly high. Oh it does that too. Aside from sometimes having to figure out which drivers work best for your card, they're great little things that age really well. I wonder how long my HD7850 will last
I wouldn't say nvidia's drivers are safe. The current whlq driver is a piece of shit, it burned a ton of cards from what people say on the geforce forums and nvidia still hasn't taken action.
Ah right, that makes a little more sense. Still, TressFX isn't even a noteworthy feature.
tressfx is a cool idea but it looks like total shit, worse than the normal hair
The stuff that is the most shit, has always the most advertisement.
I got to where he takes the sword out the wrong way up.... hold me FP....
