how comes North Korea have a medal and UK don't? :-(
They're probably thinking similar things about our human rights
Someone can post the fun gif of olimpic games swimming??
Damn the fencing piste looks amazing.
If anyone likes it, watch the men's foil. Always good stuff.
Just read this entire thread to see what I could look forward to in the opening ceremony. Being in Australia, I missed out on it by sleeping in too long. Can anyone tell me if there are more Volleyball matches, or have the finals already been?
Looking forward to the 100m sprints. Oooh, boy.
Men's Gymnastics look sexxxaaaaaay
that place is like 10 minute away from me.
But they shut off the ENTIRE park just for that..
Apocalyptic Women's Volleyball. Rain, lightning and tight pants.
That will do nicely
Fuck yah, Team USA is kicking the Frenchies' asses in Basketball. James and Kobe are doing work.
Women's cycling was really awesome! We won a silver! :D
But it's a bit annoying that the BBC commentator kept saying "he"
wooo finally
The lightweight judo finals are so intense!
Ebinuma's hip throw in the golden score was insane. It was even but it was pretty much the polish guys fight all the way through, then in sudden death Ebi just pulls this throw out of nowhere and the polish guy didn't have a clue what happened haha
Does anyone know where US residents can watch the olympics online for free?
I don't have any TV service at my house.

They could stand to learn a bit more discipline though perhaps.

Just wait till the track cycling
They could stand to learn a bit more discipline though perhaps.
Bar the road race, which is basically a free-for-all anyway, none of the finals from the past 36 hours have been in sports that we particularly excel at. When the track cycling, rowing, and sailing finals roll around you'll see those medals racking up.
Kazakhstan took a new olympic and world record in the womens weightlifting competition. Insane!
the womans 48kg lifting i watched last night was pretty impressive, the uzbeks misunderstood the event though and brought there country's ugliest woman. will have to watch todays event as well

I don't really expect weight-lifters to look like super-models though :v:

Disagree.
The men's road race? We came 2nd and 1st in the most recent Tour de France... Their plan didn't work.
The slalom kayak was really interesting.
Shame about the vuvuzelas though, I thought they were banned?
