In the 2008 Olympics (I think), we lost to France in the finals. Even though, the team was treated like national heroes. We had a freaking parade for them and nearly half the country gathered in Reykjavík. I bet the French team just got a pat on the back and then went home. I just hope they manage to get over it before the finals begin.
