Its 3 on london2012
Hmm, seems our gold medal in Sailing hasn't been awarded yet.
Hmm, seems our gold medal in Sailing hasn't been awarded yet.
Women's Laser Radial? China got that gold.
Women's Laser Radial? China got that gold.
Men's RS-X Sailing - Dorian van Rijsselberge He already has gold but the medalrace hasn't been held yet. I thought that was today but it seems I was mistaken by one day.
Is bolt running again tonight?
Is bolt running again tonight?
looks like it. [editline]7th August 2012[/editline] he won't win though.
looks like it. [editline]7th August 2012[/editline] he won't win though.
Why?
Why?
oh i thought it was longer distance like 400, nevermind. :v:
Thought this was quite touching. Lix Xiang, a Chinese hurdle sprinter with 2 world records and Olympic gold is one of the best at that event. But due to an injury he could not compete in Beijing 2008, now after 4 years he's making a comeback here in London 2012 but: He leaves: But comes back: Finishes the race: And kisses the last hurdle: http://imgur.com/a/hbMaB This is what the Olympics really is about.
Saw that one, my friend and I was completely shocked to see them fall at the first hurdle.
This is what the Olympics really is about.
Well that image is beautiful. It seems the Olympics brings the best out of people.
Dressage might be one of the most pointless events, but GB won gold in it so ... go horses!
Another cycling gold for GB with two more to be won in the next hour.
Womens volleyball quarter fingertip between Brazil and Russia Is a damn good match
2 more cylcing golds aw yea
2 more cylcing golds aw yea
You mean gold and silver?
I'm pretty damn proud of Team GB[SUB][SUB][SUP]and Northern Ireland[/SUP][/SUB][/SUB]. We are only 8 golds behind USA, I know we won't catch up but it is pretty great to be so close.
So we won nine out of a possible ten medals in track cycling events, with seven golds, one silver, and one bronze. Add those to the gold, silver, and bronze medals we won on the road and I'd say we pretty much dominated everyone on two wheels.
My mum's going mad about Meares elbowing Pendleton. "The simplest way to win, is to elbow your opponent out of her lane and get her relegated!" Did anybody see it?
My mum's going mad about Meares elbowing Pendleton. "The simplest way to win, is to elbow your opponent out of her lane and get her relegated!" Did anybody see it?
Yeah, it wasn't a great call. I think their actions should have cancelled each other out because if Meares hadn't come across so aggressively then Pendleton wouldn't have cycled over the line.
what's with the Australian cyclist ELBOWING the British? That's an instant disqualification no?
USA going to beach volleyball finals woop [editline]7th August 2012[/editline] no wait Both teams in the gold match is USA Oh boy [editline]7th August 2012[/editline] Medal events are done for the day. Dude
Dude
Which race was that?
Which race was that?
It's from the cycling final, first round out of three I read.
Meares still won anyway, as pendleton got relegated. It can be said the gap was less that 0.001, just it didnt time that accurately
So, turns out Peter Charles, who won gold in the showjumping, is from my town And there I was thinking there was nothing special about this place
The music for the opening ceremony was fucking awesome.
