I would have liked it if lesser known artists had a chance to perform too.
In all honesty the entire thing feels like "look at all these old pop stars return to the stage".
IMO Iron Maiden should have been on considering they're a huge international act but then I remember British media's snotty attitude towards that kind of music. Brian May was awesome until they decided to bring fucking Jessie J on and ruin the buzz, best part was The Who and Russell Brand, and of course Eric Idle
But tbh the ceremony was dead to me when one direction came on
