Watched the event on channel 4 HD, besides the boring ad cuts this was all pretty emotional and very amazing! My personal favorite part was when Orbital made an appearance, one of my favorite music artists.

Due to the paralympic site being absolute shit with the load they are getting, its hard to update. China obviously has the most gold though. Richard Whitehead, the guy who won a gold medal for the 200m sprint, used to teach PE at my old school. He was always really angry.

Channel 4 really ruined the para's for me, adverts every 15 regardless of whats currently going on. I've seen it before but i must say, Blind football is possibly one of the most fascinating sports to watch.

Now London will slowly get back to normal and the Olympic park will go under one more transformation as Olympic stadium is downsized, temporary structures are removed, and the athletes village is transformed into a new community. The next major sporting event in your neck of the woods is the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow in 2014 in the summer (because who wants to do summer sports in the dead of winter).
