I want another movie that will:
Answer where it came from
Have it's parent/s (Bigger monster than cloverfield. Giant fucking monster would be amazing.)
And I will be satisfied.

The nectar harvested from the undersea plants that the creature and in turn its parasites feed off causes this, or so it seems. Slusho! (a shirt of which I am wearing currently) harvests this nectar to create their delicious soft drinks. On their site, it mentions someone who drank the nectar/Slusho! too much, and grew really huge. It seems that the nectar causes rapid expansion, likely due to some reaction and differences in pressure between the ocean and the surface. The dead parasite in the bio-tube thing that was wheeled by in the military outpost has a yellow substance- nectar, likely- on its mouth, suggesting that perhaps the nectar is prevalent in their system or as a venom.
Basically, drink too much nectar/get bit and too much nectar is injected>chemical reaction with body>humans not used to pressure>massive pressure release>pop!
Does it scientifically make sense? Not quite.
Is this definitely the reasoning? No.
Can it at least push away your disbelief enough so that you can enjoy it? Ya.
So tah dah.
I remember the reason for her exploding was said on some special feature on the Blu-Ray version of the movie. It said something like how the water that was put on her caused her to blow up. I'll try to find it tomorrow.

This is it.
That's from the new Documentary "America; The History of U.S."
It's not Cloverfield 2.
Thing in the background still looks like Clover. :tinfoil:
Ugh, Cloverfield was alright and didn't need a sequel.
They should do it from point of view and some not POV. Change it up a little bit.
They should do it from a point of view, and not some point of view? Are you retarded?
just to let everybody know the poster i posted is NOT cloverfield 2
here is what i found of the sequal
There's a moment on the Brooklyn Bridge, and there was a guy filming something on the side of the bridge, and Hud sees him filming and he turns over and he sees the ship that's been capsized and sees the headless Statue of Liberty, and then he turns back and this guy's briefly filming him. In my mind that was two movies intersecting for a brief moment, and I thought there was something interesting in the idea that this incident happened and there are so many different points of view, and there are several different movies at least happening that evening and we just saw one piece of another.

It's a movie that doesn't really drag you into it.
Wrong dude. You get absorbed into the movie (providing you don't get the motion sickness) and then it slaps you in the face and answers nothing.
Even though it was an okay style to film using a first person point of view with a hand-held camera and all, I think it would've been better being filmed normally and answering questions about everything. As it is it just kind of sucks, and I don't think a Cloverfield 2 would be any better.
I honestly want a sequal.
A sequal would be pretty awesome.
WHO BUMPED THIS THREAD?! I came here expecting info on Cloverfield 2! :argh:
I loved Cloverfield.
