Who cares if we have no point to existence? There's things to do, places to see, fun to have. Just because we're not made to perform a certain task doesn't mean we can't enjoy it.
If you're so depressed about being alive then consult a suicide hotline. Maybe they can help you.
Also, the music you're referring to sucks ass.
not everyone can do what they want.
and maybe the things that people want to do involve things that might not be available to humans for centuries? (ie, the OP)
just the thought of possibly knowing that there might be more to existence than what we know is shocking and awe striking.
If you couldnt tell by the way I was typing, I was being entirely sarcastic to the tone of this thread and how emo OP and everyone else is being.
lol, snipped it then

Not really. It's completely obvious that something else must exist somewhere else in the universe.

Almost brought a tear to my eye. Now I'm sad. Best quote ever.

Now I feel horrible
The gift of life is the best and worst thing you'll ever get.
It's be best because obviously you exist, you are alive and can experience so much.
It's the worst because you know one day you'll cease to exist, and everything you ever did will mean nothing.
That's life.
So you don't get to see space. So what? On Earth we have shit like this:

The only reason we can see cool stuff in space is because it's all so far away. If you travelled there you'd just see some specks of dust.

I guess they didn't want to give him an erection because they knew that's all people would notice.
ITT people going emo because they can't do what they want
Off topic, but why did they give the statue such a small penis?
Because the people he was modeling weren't insecure about their body.
So, you want to be immortal, and thus watch your mortal family and friends die and have to live billions of years watching humanity be torn apart. What a genius idea.

Most people are, deal with it.
The problem with these threads are always people who go "Fuck that shit, enjoy life to the fullest." The issue with that is people can't enjoy life, laws and governments prevent you from living life and doing the things you love. Some people have school, some people have a family to take care of, some people simply don't have enough money. Say your dream was always to go to Paris, or climb fucking Mount Everest.
But you will never be able to do that. You will be confined to a routine of your work for the rest of your life on a daily basis. You dont have a choice, you need money to survive and no stranger will land a hand. I'm not saying the situation has been any different throughout history, but truth is, lifes a bitch. and humanity is even a bigger bitch.
Of course you can blindfold yourself with optimism but that day shall come where you wake up in the morning thinking "What have I really done with my life?", and when you realize that it will be too late to do anything about it.
Take a moment to think, how many people truly lived life to the fullest throughout human history? 10 million? maybe 30? Now how many people are there in total living on this godforsaken rock? Billions. Yes you can keep thinking that happiness is subjective and that it differs from everybody else but truth be told, every single human being shares the same amount of greediness as the guy next to him. After all, greediness IS a basic human quality, right?
Button line is dont overhype your life while you're still a teenager, the more you overhype it the more you will be disappointed. And the earlier teenagers achieve this realization the better.
Gonna freeze myself for a thousand years, hoping I'm going to pull a futurama
that op reminded me of roy batty's final soliloquy in blade runner.
except the other way around, what is lost is what has been seen, instead of what will never be seen.

That's life, make the best of it. As much as I'd like to live in a world without money, I know that I'd much rather make the best of things than get lost in pipedreams.
still. Your best chance's are: save money, live your life healthy (minimal sun radiation, proper weight, not smoking, no use of alcohol). Think of it this way. People that are born 100 years ago are now 100 years old. well 100 years ago it was rare for people to age 60+. So we could expect that you will be at least 150 years old (if healthy). Judging you are around 20 technology still has 130 years to develop life extensive systems. I have hope in it
I'd rather die, thank you very much.
