Having fainted twice at school a year ago, yes I assure you it is (suddenly waking up on the ground with everyone looking at you is horrible). Especially when you don't know what caused it (in my case it was just having eaten lots of fast sugars without a breakfast which caused a bloodsugar crash, but I didn't know that back then).

Try removing your CPU fan, it might be causing the blackouts due to dust buildup.
