less than a month to go until the Christmas special! Hopefully with Moffat writing it'll be less cheesy CGI clusterfuck than RTD's Christmas episodes always ended up being.
I heard about the McCoy thing on the radio, it'd be interesting to see if Moffat attempts a new multi-doctor story since it'd be the first since the new series started. Well, the first for a looong time. [editline]1st December 2010[/editline] And I've been thinking about it, and I'm cool with the overly-christmas theme of this next episode. With the other christmas special episodes, it was just another one-off Doctor Who episode set on Christmas Day, with perhaps a mention of Chistmas at the end - if you were lucky. Looking back, it's almost as if RTD didn't quite understand what "Christmas Special" meant, had already written the episode, and the script editor rolled their eyes and quickly typed up a couple of Christmas references to make it fit.
I hate how they're always set on Christmas day. Just because it's a Christmas special doesn't mean it has to be about Christmas. [editline]1st December 2010[/editline] Wow, that was the most stupid thing I've ever posted [editline]1st December 2010[/editline] Which part of the post are people agreeing with?
If I ever see another episode of Doctor Who with Rose in it, it will be too soon.
Wow. I can't believe we're only on page 89. And anyway, I can't wait for Christmas now. It's like an extra present each year whenever I watch it.

it doesn't matter if it's about christmas, it'll be far better than anything RTD has ever put out and for once no fucking daleks or cybermen

[editline]1st December 2010[/editline] Holy shit, just realised Mrs. Hartigan was also Phoebe in Goodnight Sweetheart Mind = Blown
this thread is the best who community :3:
I'm so sick of Gallifrey Base, all they do is whine about every single aspect of the programme.
I doubt Ecclestone'd return for a multi Doctor story.
He would, he hugely respects Doctor Who
He would, he hugely respects Doctor Who
He wants to distance himself from the role, doesn't want to be known as 'that bloke from Doctor Who'
Yeh he only left because he didn't want to be typecast.
Whenever he's asked about it he goes on about how he feels it was his greatest work because he bonded with children across the world
he'll come back though eventually but fuck man i'm excited for the christmas special considering it won't be the standard DALEKS R INVADIN SAVE US DOCTOR!!!!!!! HI I'M DAVID BRILLIANT TENNANT AND HERE'S A WIN BUTTON YAY YOU SAVED US ALL BUT NOBODY QUESTIONS THE FACT THAT DALEKS WERE EVERYWHERE AND EVERYBODY FORGETS ABOUT IT
time crash
:saddowns: Okay, first PROPER story, rather than a five-minute slot for a BBC charity gig.
Who?
Christopher Eccleston. The ninth doctor and my personal favourite. He was so fucking badass, and he was kind of a psycho sometimes. This scene truly defined Eccleston's doctor for me:

Christopher Eccleston was great as the doctor, but I found his ears strangely distracting

Hey, this might be a bit late, but the last of the Doctor Who Adventure Games is apparently set for distribution on Christmas Day, and it's allegedly gonna involve the Vashta Nerada! I really hope the player has to use a flashlight and light sources to fight them off, that'd be awesome.
[img_thumb]http://i595.photobucket.com/albums/tt32/doctorwhonews/misc/tardiseslorry.jpg[/img_thumb] 11 TARDISes just arrived at the BBC Wales studios. Doctor Who News Page points out that the TARDIS prop has been flat-pack since 2005 so this is odd (not the fact there are 11 of them).
Sweet.
:O Actually, 22 Tardis'. Probably for a convention, it wasn't heading to location. Actually, it's probably for Doctor Who Experience. [editline]2nd December 2010[/editline] Flying shark
:O Actually, 22 Tardis'.
It's only 1 row deep [editline]2nd December 2010[/editline] Also what's the giant pole-thing glowing in the background. [editline]2nd December 2010[/editline] Also what's the giant pole-thing glowing in the background.
It's only 1 row deep
Read the article on Doctor Who News again. It's 22. Also: iPhone game Next Doctor Who game is released Christmas day. It will star the Vashta Narada. Called it. Ha, I love how I called every game, Daleks, Cybermen, TARDIS and Vashta. I knew those URL's meant something.
Still haven't played TARDIS :saddowns:
*flying shark*
How the- Okay, this is now officially awesome. If the Doctor actually does ride in a cart drawn by a flying shark on Christmas Day, I will actually collapse in on myself.
