If I had a cool, metallic replica of the Sonic Screwdriver, I would definitely carry it around with me. Plastic toy version, not so much.
Though I'm pretty sure I got it out of my system. I am allowed at least one day to be a complete moron, damnit. X3
I got one of the diecast replicas with the screwdriver in it. The sound is crap on it, but it's got a nice weight. Bit disappointed that the top bit is both plastic, and non-extending. I think I might replace the speaker in it so I get a good sound.
My little cousins have those small plastic toy Sonic Screwdrivers, too. I think they got them for Christmas...

Pity they're quite so expensive :/ Also, I took a trip to Birmingham this afternoon, and bought myself Series One of the reboot. I've never rewatched the series, so I was interested about how I would view them now. I watched the first two episodes, and all I can say is that Doctor Who has got SO much better since then. Eccleston was good, but the writing was pretty cheesy, the effects were awful, there's no PROPER soundtrack really, not to the soundtracks I'm used to from Murray Gold, and it just seems to me that there isn't the care and the quality that the newer series show. It still manages, despite it all, to be rather brilliant, which makes the downsides all excusable enough... Lady Cassandra's first "death" still makes me laugh. [editline]5th January 2011[/editline]
Comrade wrote a story: I started a brave and valiant search. For days i dug deeper and deeper... And then. I hit bedrock. I threw the last of my TNT And scrammed. the whole room cleared... ..Then i saw it.. The hole in the universe... I could see the bright, swirling cataclysm that was all of existance.. I knew why i had come. To fix the catastrophic damage to our reality. The eldritch abominations from the hellish dimensions beyond, The explosive horrors. I gripped the tool the tweed-wearing man gave me, The "Intra-dimensional time-fixer." He called it, i saw the massive hole in the universe. I yelled loudly. And lept into the swirling cataclysm below GERONIMOOOO! I fell thousands of feet, I saw many other swirling entities, These were the faults in the universe, I dodged asteroid to asteroid. And activated the device, It started glowing as i neared the centre of the large entity. I saw nothing but a bright light before i heard a massive explosion... ..Then i woke up.. In the grass.. With no memory of what happened.. I don't even know how i can remember this now. But i have always lived above that hole in the universe I like how he had to make a point of the fact it was his turd.
I desperately want to re-write this. Do it right.
You want to rewrite a [terrible] Doctor Who / Minecraft crossover fanfiction? That sort of thing is best left well alone
You want to rewrite a [terrible] Doctor Who / Minecraft crossover fanfiction?
Oh god. Never mind.
I'm battling an urge I have. I already have the Tenth Doctor's screwdriver, but now ThinkGeek has stuff on sale and Eleven's Sonic is only $20 as opposed to nearly $30 with shipping. I'm seriously considering it, I love its look. Anyone heard anything about it? The one with the extending claws and the button in the base.

[sp]Torchwood[/sp]
I kinda agree a little bit, since Doctor Who hasn't really had many episodes with dinosaurs in it. The Silurian episodes don't count, as they aren't really dinosaurs. One thing that needs to be done is a Doctor Who episode with lots of dinosaurs, be it a rogue Time Agency outpost in the Mesozoic or a Jurassic Park-stylee science experiment. It'd be awesome to see the Doctor being up against dinosaurs, either way.

I don't think dinosaurs would really work with Doctor Who - they're just giant lizards who wouldn't really do much other than run around and roar while breaking stuff. Not exactly what DW monsters are about. For one thing, they're not even alien :saddowns:
they're not even alien
how do we know they weren't :ohdear:
Because they weren't aliens, they were dinosaurs two completely different things, obv :colbert:

And the pirates are transporting Zombies :v:

Or has that been proven wrong somehow.
