Thanks for that. Also, I'm well aware of what FP can be like, I've lurked around for long enough. I don't make my lack of penis an obvious affair, I hope. Shame, I've heard about CourageDog around, I hadn't realised she'd left.
I've heard about CourageDog around, I hadn't realised she'd left.
Wow, really?
Wow really she left, or wow really I didn't know she had?
I liked David Tennant but he was a bit too human, but then again isn't that what you get from 10 generations of travelling with them? Anyway, I liked him in this:
Those special effects are painful. You could really tell that the camera just went left right left right for shaking. Not even a bit of up or even down.
I watched the Doctor Who prom 2010 thing a while ago. I liked the cyberman that came out at the end, he was cool.

just tried to find my series 5 DVD's, I appear to have lost them all. Oh well.
Oh god, nostalgia all over the place Hard to believe it's been five or six years since that series
When you put it like that, wow. It all goes so quick! He does look younger in there though. Glad he ended up getting rid of that long hair because of Matt Smith's current style.

ROSE IS NOW A GOD BECAUSE THE TARDIS GAVE HER MAGIC POWERS BECAUSE SHE LOOKED INTO THE MIDDLE OF IT AND SHE DESTROYS EVERYTHING WITH A HUGE COP OUT WIN BUTTON FUCK YEAH RTD STYLE
always HATED the ending to series 1. ROSE IS NOW A GOD BECAUSE THE TARDIS GAVE HER MAGIC POWERS BECAUSE SHE LOOKED INTO THE MIDDLE OF IT AND SHE DESTROYS EVERYTHING WITH A HUGE COP OUT WIN BUTTON FUCK YEAH RTD STYLE
Yeah it seemed a little far-fetched or rushed.

Except maybe series 2, that wasn't THAT bad.
And the funny thing is, every series finale after that which he wrote had some silly huge cop out win button! Also series 4 had about 5 huge copout win buttons and they brought them out at exactly the same time, it was the cheesiest shit ever. Lets blow up the earth! Look...a stone I got from a magical seer that can blow up things! Doctor Donna! Big ray gun! Torchwood gear! Etc.

Wonder if they'll ever have a series climax where the Doctor loses? That'd be interesting. [editline]8th January 2011[/editline] Oh, I sort of thought that putting Amy in the Pandorica to keep her alive was kind of a copout, it didn't really make sense that the Pandorica would instantly bring her back to life like it did.

Yay! My pet Dalek arrived! It rolls around the house, yells "Exterminate!" at my cats and doesn't fall off ledges.
Yay! My pet Dalek arrived! It rolls around the house, yells "Exterminate!" at my cats and doesn't fall off ledges.
I've got an old remote control toy dalek from a few christmases ago, I think it's broken now though :ohdear:
Wonder if they'll ever have a series climax where the Doctor loses? That'd be interesting.
Not really a series climax, but arguably the Doctor lost "Warriors of the Deep" if we count emotional losses.

I'm three quarters of the way through rewatching Series 1 on boxset now. Ah well, luckily I have Moffat's Empty Child to come, which will be interesting to re-experience... *shudder*
Not really a series climax, but arguably the Doctor lost "Warriors of the Deep" if we count emotional losses.
he also lost in VotD both of them

I thought Captain Jack was a good character in that but not sure on his character overall.
Not sure on his character overall.
Really? Why? And well, my theory of not getting so emotionally involved with the first series has gone to pot. "Father's Day" made me cry, though all the timey-wimeyness gets rather confusing.
who the hell cries at doctor who the drama is beyond cheesy
Well, her apparently Don't be a douche, people can be emotional about different things... I recall being moved by scenes in Black Hawk Down for christ's sake :v:
