Well, her apparently
Don't be a douche, people can be emotional about different things... I recall being moved by scenes in Black Hawk Down for christ's sake :v:
It's still pretty weird to cry at it though
Guess I'm just a dickbag
Really? Why?
And well, my theory of not getting so emotionally involved with the first series has gone to pot. "Father's Day" made me cry, though all the timey-wimeyness gets rather confusing.
I prefer him in Torchwood for some reason. He was great in the empty child and the doctor dances two parter, was brilliant with Ecclestone.. but I don't see the same effect with Tennant.
However, he'd probably work with Matt Smith very well seeing as it is a Moffat character.

sometimes my eyes get dewy when I watch the scene near the end of children of men, where all the soldiers and rebels stop shooting so they can let the crying baby through
I also cried at K-9, but that's just due to how bad it was

Nope it is fair weird to cry at it
My mum and my sisters cried when David Tennant regenerated, it was a pretty moving scene.

there is no such thing
normality is an illusion
who the hell cries at doctor who the drama is beyond cheesy
Well, the story writing can be really touching if you stand back and appreciate it. I suppose I do get rather more involved that I should with the storylines, but hell, why shouldn't I enjoy them? The way they presented a man who was supposedly a failure who then had to sacrifice himself to save everyone, their reactions to this, Rose's sentiments on the situation too. Just the way writers tell things on Doctor Who can sometimes be very powerful - when Tennant went was very moving too.
Let me enjoy it!

the episode where david tennant saves the olympics made me laugh so hard

That episode was awful though, and I doubt the writers were aiming for something particularly dramatic when he carried the torch

So I'm not the only one who found that episode painful to watch?
Wasn't it voted the worst episode since the re-launch?

I thought that one went to Love and Monsters (with Peter Kay) that episode was just awful.

I liked that episode
Good one
I used to watch Doctor Who ages ago, back when the actor was that ugly bald fucker. I was kinda young back then, so I actually really enjoyed it. When it moved to David Tennant, that combined with me growing up, it made me feel really awkward to watch. Personally, I see DW today as a really cheesy college project. And the guy who's doing the Doctor's role now, looks like a joke. I can't help but giggle when I see this guys face. He looks just plain creepy.
They also film lot's of episodes in my area. One time, they filmed a scene down town. There's a superdrug on the road they filmed it on. They also filmed another scene in my college ages ago, which had those fat green guys who had faces like babies (you know the ones I'm on about)
Okay.
I'd point out that they were probably filming an episode from SJA since the slitheen don't appear in any schools during DW, and that if you giggle every time you see Matt Smith's face then there's probably something wrong with you, but whatever.

eh
it was a good concept but ultimately fell flat
blink was what love and monsters was meant to be
I thought that one went to Love and Monsters (with Peter Kay) that episode was just awful.
Love and Monsters... was that the one with the Absorbalof? If that's the case, the poor writers had to work with what they could, the monster was a result of a Blue Peter competition and was designed by like a 9 year old...
