So David's gonna be back for a bit in a multi-Doctor story? Interesting. But which Doctor is it gonna be, regular Doctor Ten or human Meta-Crisis Doctor Ten?
Or is this just specula?
I think Dan was joking, I'm pretty sure if there was a chance of a multi-doctor story he'd be a bit more enthusiastic than that.
Human Meta-Crisis Doctor Ten?
I wish so badly it was this. I've always thought it would be brilliant idea for an episode, but sort of impossible what with all the alternative-universe-ness.
For all we know the cracks in the universe have leaked across to other universes and wiped out those bits of reality :3:
Stumbled across this on one of the spoilers websites I lurk around on. This both sounds hilarious and, frankly, awful. I'm glad I'm pretty certain it's fake:
There are some rumours that sound plausible and there are others that are so silly they can’t possibly be true. This one falls under the latter category and with that in mind you may wish to stop reading now.
Okay, for those of you still with us, according to Unreality TV, Amy Pond will find herself pregnant in an unspecified future episode of Doctor Who. But this won’t be a dream like in Amy’s Choice.
Says the post:
The Time Lord’s companion – played by Karen Gillan – will be elated when she finds out she’s going to be a mum and rushes to tell new husband Rory Williams (Arthur Darvill) the good news.
However, his response isn’t what she expects and things turn sour when Rory starts to suspect the baby isn’t his, and immediately points the finger at the Doctor.
An insider explained: “Amy has been obsessed with the Doc ever since she met him as a child and started making her Raggedy Doctor dolls. She went off in the Tardis with him and left Rory behind.
“Rory is suspicious that maybe the pair got it on in the Tardis with before he finally married Amy. The Doc, of course, denies it’s him.”
It all sounds like something out of a soap opera rather than Doctor Who, and it gets ‘better’…
However, the titular character – played by Matt Smith – won’t be the only person in the frame as the baby’s father.
Other potential daddies include painter Vincent Van Gogh – who Amy and the Time Lord met during the last series of the BBC One show when he became smitten with the flame-haired female – as well as a Dalek or even an evil Cyberman.
The source added to the Daily Star newspaper: “It leads to a big who’s the daddy plotline.”
Dalek? Cyberman? Really, I think that tells us all we need to know.

The twist?
[sp]River Song is the father![/sp]
Well, that'd be just silly...

HUGE SPOILERS above.
Better than Daleks, it will be interesting to see these guys get a proper two parter, unlike their last episodes.
Also just found a pretty bizarre, but oddly fitting theory about who River Song is. I won't type it all out here, I don't want huge black spoilery marks all over my post, but it's the most recent post on here:

Some of it makes no sense. I really don't want this to be the truth, but it's a theory that makes more sense than some.

I wish it was another enemy, and not these. I dislike so much about them, mainly just how they look. They have the potential to be great, but they just look laughable.
If they're done right, they could be amazing.

They were particularly weak episodes. But that whole series was generally crap, with a few exceptions.
I've got to say I really like what Matt Smith is doing with the fabulously talented Steven Moffat at the helm...but I am a grumpy old Doctor Who fan who started with Jon Pertwee, so I'm going to have to say Tom Baker is the one to beat.
I have the same opinion about Doctor Who like my second-biggest Sci-fi idol David Hewlett!

Look at the smiler, he's on his angriest face, but in the part right after this it's head turns from the frown to the angry face.
I'd get an image of that too but it's not really much proof, watch it yourself and you will see.
Saw that in a video a week or two ago. The video is 2 months old, you're a bit late.
So when IS the new series gonna start? March or April?

And I'll be skiing.
I go on the day that Portal 2 is released, and I assume the saturday is the day when Doctor Who starts. :saddowns:
Fortunately my hairy arse isn't going anywhere, so I won't be missing Doctor Who OR Portal 2 goodness. Sad to hear your predicaments, but at least y'all gonna be on an abroad holiday.
You could always set your telly-boxes to record it, or as some Americans say, TiVo it. (does TiVo even exist anymore?)

It's not Doctor Who i'm worried about, it's Portal 2. I'm not touching Facepunch with a barge pole until I finish it, to avoid spoilers. I'm going to sit down as soon as I get back, and just play through it.
