Fortunately my hairy arse isn't going anywhere, so I won't be missing Doctor Who OR Portal 2 goodness. Sad to hear your predicaments, but at least y'all gonna be on an abroad holiday.
You could always set your telly-boxes to record it, or as some Americans say, TiVo it. (does TiVo even exist anymore?)
TiVo still exists, but not as popular.
No marlamin, go back to sleep...
Ok. :saddowns:
By the way, before we steer this sucker back on topic, does anybody know when the Portal 2 pre-orders are starting?
As much as Portal had a good experience, I didn't like it that much. Most likely because I didn't see much of a story in it, just a puzzle game. Hoping the second one is amazing though, likewise the new series of Doctor Who :D
Portal is one of my favourite games, like ever.
I just hope they haven't gone overboard and ruined the good ol' Portal experience :saddowns:
I never thought to ask.. do any of you have a Steam profile? We could all play on a game together etc.

Actually, he's been quoted on several of the Who information websites I lurk on saying that he has no intention of leaving for a while yet. Thank god. I love his version of the Doctor, and I want to see it go on a bit longer.
Yeah at least two more seasons, I feel like if they don't stay on for long, then it's a waste of a regeneration. Like the 9th Doctor.
We need to make a Facpunch Doctor Who steamgroup
[editline]21st January 2011[/editline]
They have one for MSPA and Airsoft
I do believe we already have one. Not used too much though.

I was on holiday when Vice City came out, which was quite a huge release.
It drove me nuts knowing that the DVD was sat on my hall floor while I was in Greece.
If anyone wants they can add me too

I watched the Christmas episode and thought
"Sharks. . Resonance. . . Ghosts. . . Holy fuck I still have to watch those 20 DVDs I have :gonk:"

A survival level I'm making, it consists of dodging Jelly babies that spew out of Tom Baker's mouth while trying to stay on the moving platforms.
Yes, I am insane at times
Reposting this in this thread to see everyone's reaction. He even says "Jelly baby" when he opens his mouth.
:wtc:
Pretty awesome though

I can't believe I've never thought to have a Doctor Who dream while lucid before.

One of my first ideas in the first few I had, and I still use it to transfer places in dreams: TARDIS. Round the cornet, right there. Works great.

Agreed. I think it needs to show actual time passing more too. I mean, he's got through 2 regenerations in 7 Earth years (based on him saying he's 900 as Eccleston, and 907 during "Amy's Choice", even though this is now more of an approximate guess). Considering he got through the Time War on one regeneration, he's pretty damned unlucky.
I'm glad Matt is doing more, I think there's so much more to do with the whole Moffat/Matt Smith partnership going on there that will be just great to see.

This. But then, I have a hell of a lot of Who dreams at the moment anyway, cause I'm pretty much exhaustively rewatching the series. I've just bought the series 2 boxsets and got through 3 episodes tonight, and am sort of simultaneously watching the new series over again. Thanks to "Amy's Choice", I had a dream about weird old people zombies surrounding my house last night. Sadly, despite numerous recent appearances of the Doc in my dreams (including Tennant Doctor becoming a space-pirateship-captain), no real Who presence in that one, but meh.
Between series 4 and 5, I had three Doctor Who related dreams. They were like little mini-episodes.
The first one was either set underwater or on the surface of some weird alien planet, where the natural light was tinted blue. It was set in the future, with humans in some sort of bio-dome thing, and the Doctor leaving behind a companion (either Martha or a companion I'd made up - probably Martha, since I don't particularly like her as a character). I think it was shot from the point of view of a secondary character, like Elton from Love and Monsters sort of thing, but... Y'know... Actually good. She (I think it was a girl) was looking out into the distance from a beach setting at one point.
The second one was set in the past, and was a kind of murder-mystery type story, set in the London suburbs in a just pre-WW1 setting, and again was colour based, only this time it was tinted a sort of browny-red colour. It involved the Doctor and his companion (again, probably Martha at the time) being separated, and both of them trying to solve the mystery from different angles at the same time. There was also a point where the two crosse paths, but one was crossing a bridge whilst the other was below, both too far away from each other to reach one another. There was also a chase sequence through a house / library, but from a third-person view throughout. There was also a dead body. And lots of blood.
Can't remember the third time, but I'm pretty sure there was a third dream. Maybe a second dream after one of the other dreams, I dunno.
Both times I can remember, it was as if I was sat there, watching the episode unfold in front of me. Pretty cool. I think it was around the time that I was getting impatient for the release Matt Smith's series, so it still featured David Tennant as the Doctor.
It was awesome.

They were the same dream. Martha leaves the Doctor at the end of the second dream but its shown first because of timey-wimey
