Anyone else think that the thing between the lamp and the ringed thing looks a bit like the spider robots from the second Eccleston episode? :raise:
When you said it I didn't think so at all, thought it was just the legs. Then I saw the weird eye-like thing on top :ohdear:
Remind me of these:
1. The Eleventh Hour - 10/10 - One of the best Who episodes I have seen so far, perfect pacing, acting, everything. Also the tension was spot on with the mystery of the door. My favourite of the series. 2. The Beast Below - 7/10 - Got a 7 because of the ending, would of got higher but Amy saving the day for both the humans and the animal took some of the emotion out of it. Was just an average Who episode over all. 3. Victory of the Daleks - 5/10 - Token Dalek episode, some nice touches but had so much potential with the Doctor's paranoia over the 'nice' Daleks but it was wasted with how the story ended up. 4. The Time of Angels - 8/10 - Great episode, nice Angel tension, Amy's run in with the Angel and then the result of that made some interesting turns in the story. Would of got 9 if it wasn't for River Song's crap acting. 5. Flesh and Stone - 7/10 - Disappointing second part to TTOA, concentrated too much on the cracks and not the angels themselves, lost quite a lot of the tension this way. Also the way the Angels invading Amy was a bit of a dull outcome, although the idea of not been able to open her eyes was nice it then just was ignored when she opened them... 6. The Vampires of Venice = 7/10 - Quite a nice episode but a disappointing ending, had a lot of potential but some story decisions just made it quite a forgettable episode. 7. Amy's Choice - 6/10 - Very predictable, got bored quite early on as I could tell which way the whole story about the dream would and real world would go. Also the Dream Lord was a wasted character, had a lot of potential but was wasted. Hoping to see him return. 8. The Hungry Earth - 4/10 - Just dull, main enemies were not interesting once they were revealed. Had potential when one of the enemies were captured, the whole issue of morality and strength of will, but found that was handled quite badly in the end. 9. Cold Blood - 5/10 - Just as dull as the first part, the only interesting part was the ending with Rory. That was a brilliant part of the episode and wished they made an entire episode that matched up to that. 10. Vincent and The Doctor - 9/10 - If not seen as a Dr. Who episode it was very good, great story about the insanity of Vincent and after a while it really made you feel sorry for him. Also the ending was very sad but very nicely done. One of my favourite 'alternative' Who episodes. 11. The Lodger - 9/10 - Loved the new take on the Doctor, trying to live in a real world, also James Corden who normally really annoys me, was actually really good in this episode. Perfectly complimented the Doctor. Thought the upstairs room could of been made a bit creepier though, like the strange room in the first episode. 12. The Pandorica Opens - 9/10 Very nice build up, some nice hints like Captain Jack's wrist. The whole twist with what the Pandorica is for was nice but thought it lacked something, like it was revealed with a lack of care, was a bit like 'here is what is going on, enjoy' rather than really selling it to us. 13. The Big Bang - 9/10 - Extra point for the Fez, since Fezzes are cool! Loved some aspects, the lack of River for most of the episode was a BIG plus. The whole thing about the doctor going back and forth really was well done but when he went back in his time line it lacked the emotion of DT going to see everyone before regenerating. Also the end parts like the wedding felt like too much of a filler. Did anyone else thing Amy looked strange when she was in her wedding dress? Her face was really pale but her body was tanned.

http://www.facebook.com/pages/A-Rory-Is-For-Life-Not-Just-For-Christmas/138754132806369 Because a Rory IS for life, not just for Series Five :P
I am watching Nightmare of Eden, and I hate K-9's new voice.
So I finally got around to watching the last four episodes of the season tonight. Let me see if I got this right: [sp]The Doctor saved himself from the box by traveling back in time to tell Rory to get him out of the box, so he could travel forward in time, and then back in time to tell Rory to get him out of the box?[/sp] :wtc: That whole last episode was fun and all, but the time space universe doctor tardis bang crack... I don't even know. Can somebody break down what happened to the Doctor for me? So much happened, I don't even know where to start asking questions.

Then he also went on about how that product hasn't been produced since about 2007, and the time of the episode is set in 2010.
Amy WAS alive in 2007 fyi. Eleventh Hour mostly takes place in 2008. And whilst the Doctor and the Master are fighting over it, the fez flies off and accidentally hits a button that turns on an evil army of new aliens. Then the Master gives the Doctor a piggy back ride while the doctor sonic's a load of things. Amy and Rory are in the locker room making out and stuff while river is arguing with the 3 leaders of The Silence, the presenters of Top Gear and then the army controlled by the Silence gets hacked by the Doctor and the Master and then the alien army destroy the members of the Silence. Then Jeremy, the leader, is dying and river questions his motives, he goes on about how the Doctor has always caused his family some problems, then flash back to all of the time in that series that the doctor has done something to a family line through the time travelled.
You spelt it wrong it's BRIAN BLESSED. and of course. GORDON'S ALIVEEEEE
I think we need an episode where due to some kind of timey wimey interference (similar to Time Crash), we end up with two Doctors. Imagine two Matt Smiths trying to work together, and there's only one fez.

Oh god thats wrong
She was staring at the crack. The Angel inside her was too scared to come out.
Just found that a bit of a crap description to be honest. So much potential but just seemed to be forgotten when something new came along (the cracks).
Big picture DAT FEZ caps [editline]01:17PM[/editline] You spelt it wrong it's BRIAN BLESSED. and of course. GORDON'S ALIVEEEEE
Lol look at his ear in that picture. Also, Doctor Who said that the dreamlord was him, but then didn't he see him in a reflection near the end? I swear I saw him in a reflection on the TARDIS console, meaning either it was just The Doctor's mind, he was lying about it being him, or it wasn't really the crystals.
Also, going back to the finale, technically Rory is older than the Doctor. But, can someone ask me this, is Rory still an Auton or is he back to normal now?
Normal, the only person who will remember the whole thing is the Doctor.
Normal, the only person who will remember the whole thing is the Doctor.
No. Everybody remembers. Rory, Amy, Vincent, Churchill and the rest. It just didn't happen physically. So he is normal hand Rory now.
No. Everybody remembers. Rory, Amy, Vincent, Churchill and the rest. It just didn't happen physically. So he is normal hand Rory now.
I just mean the last two episodes, from when the TARDIS explodes onwards.
I'm still really confused with the time jumping at the start. How does he escape the pandorica to begin with so that he can give Rory his sonic if he doesn't do that til later on in the museum?? :S
Wibbly wobbly, timey wimey
But surely there has to be someway he got out the box to begin with. How can he go back and give his sonic if he never left the box.
It's just a wibbly wobbly timey wimey loop that's the only explanation Like in Blink
Yana isn't someone who actually existed though. Also I don't exactly get how Yana is an acronym for You Are Not Alone. I don't think the Master would think "Hey the Doctor might still be alive when the rest of the Time Lords die out so I'll give myself a name that really subtly hints to him that I'm the Master when I turn human" or anything.
The face of Bo told him 'you are not alone' and that was jack (hartness?) who was there and through the magic of Wibbly Wobbly Timey Whimey... Stuff he told the doctor so in other words yana was a randomly generated name and jack spent ~1 billion years figuring out a way of hinting it to the doctor [editline]05:46PM[/editline]
It's just a wibbly wobbly timey wimey loop that's the only explanation Like in Blink
Or timesplitters :P (ment the 'like in blink' bit)
