A good anniversary cover in my opinion would be a picture of the TARDIS console slap-bang in the middle with all the Doctors photoshopped around it looking up at the camera above them. Maybe with the camera sort of positioned in the central column with the Time Vortex slightly visible inside it. That would rock. [editline]08:24PM[/editline] Also, haven't got a name for the episode yet. Although I can say I reckon it's a kind of cool idea. Just depends on if I can pull it off well.
Time on Offer?
It's my episode about a shop that's messed up.
After a day of thinking I've come up with what I think is a really good setting, however I lack the ability to think of a way the Doctor could be in it.
Talk with the person doing the previous episode.
I've not actually signed up to do anything yet, I'm waiting till I can find at least a basic way to tie the doctor in.
[editline]08:20PM[/editline] Wait until 2013. 50 year anniversary.

@Dan2593: I'm calling dibs on the Christmas special for your series.

Go for it.
I think they should re-introduce that like healing powder in the episode with the Gasmasked kids who were like "Mummy" "Are you my Mummy?"
I think they should re-introduce that like healing powder in the episode with the Gasmasked kids who were like "Mummy" "Are you my Mummy?"
Nanomachines? It wouldn't make them say "Are you my mummy".
Nanomachines? It wouldn't make them say "Are you my mummy".
I mean that Nanomachine, no the gas masked kids.
Apparently the doctor is nine-hundred and something (I forget), but what about in human years? Considering how a year is based, I think it's slightly obvious that it should be different :D
Haha, rewatched the eleventh hour and just realised what relevance that "why do you call it a duck pond if there aren't any ducks" scene is. Many of you probably noticed this but the fact that it is a 'duck pond' relates to the action in the hospital the doctor want's amy to take which is 'duck, pond!' away from the ladder coming through the window. I never realised such a basic thing haha! great how they link things together and you still find things :D definitely my fave episode by far.
The ending put me off the show for good. Didn't want him nor expected him to[sp]die[/sp], it was just plain stupid how he was[sp]brought back[/sp]and I was really hoping it was going to be less child friendly. They should take a leaf out of Prison Break, that show was absolutely fantastic.
Well, erased from the universe, I don't see any other plausible explanation that comes close to being even remotely possible to allowing the Doctor to come back from that, care to share your method? :colbert: [editline]04:40PM[/editline]
Haha, rewatched the eleventh hour and just realised what relevance that "why do you call it a duck pond if there aren't any ducks" scene is. There's gonna be a huge lull in posts to this thread when everyone's away writing their own episodes :v:
I don't get it, why is everybody writing fan-fiction and their own "series"? Is there some kind of competition or something?
Dainbramagestudios, off topic but were you just on Flatout: Ultimate Carnage just before? :colbert: Saw some username called dainbramage19
no
I don't get it, why is everybody writing fan-fiction and their own "series"? Is there some kind of competition or something?
This stuff happens. People get bored waiting for things so they re-create them before they come out.
This stuff happens. People get bored waiting for things so they re-create them before they come out.
But what's the point?
okay guys I come back to this thread after a few hours and it's turned into a clusterfuck [editline]10:30PM[/editline] I can't even keep track of all the different "seasons" they merge into one long unfinished pile of half-baked ideas [editline]10:30PM[/editline] I don't remember who I'm writing for
But what's the point?
Doctor Who has open canon, therefore our stories count to the canon. It's fun.
Doctor Who has open canon, therefore our stories count to the canon. It's fun.
But when do we fire the cannon?
so what's your story arc again just give me stuff I should consider when writing an episode, any plot relevent details I could throw into conversations
Hey dan, if we pull this off right, we might get famous.
I think series discussion should be kept to PM, until release. It's fun, but it's distracting from the point.. [editline]10:39PM[/editline]
Hey dan, if we pull this off right, we might get famous.
Hate to crush you, but we're not the first to make our own Eleventh Doctor Series.
Hey dan, if we pull this off right, we might get famous.
I doubt it.
