No, Comrade General, you are the one who is being unreasonable. also new avatar
How do I get me one of these new "Avatars"?
Why, praytell, were you that informative?
I liked Tennant and I think Smith is just as good; they both have excellent ways of portraying the Doctor.

I think you're both half right. I think the way the Doctor is portrayed is definitely based on the acting, but I wouldn't expect Smith to be saying some of Tennant's lines as they were written by RTD. But because Moffat wrote Girl in the Fireplace, I can actually imagine Smith doing that just as well as Tennant could, whereas I can't really see Matt Smith doing like Journey's End or whatever, the lines and the way it plays out doesn't suit his character. It doesn't ALL rely on acting, they've got their catch phrases and different ways of doing things, and the actors have a bit of their own input into the script when they film it. RTD and Moffat write differently and Smith and Tennant do the Doctor differently so the way Moffat's earlier episodes are written do somewhat remind me of a more 11th doctor kind of personality, though obviously Tennant acts it how Tennant would act it. So you're both right and you're both wrong and you should both shut up
I love how people miss the point completely. I meant as in, the dialogue resembles eleven. Jesus christ people are taking this into a full on flamewar
Amy choice was the last episode of S5 they did, AND SHE WAS ACTUALLY PREGNANT, SHE IS REALLY PREGNANT.
Amy choice was the last episode of S5 they did, AND SHE WAS ACTUALLY PREGNANT, SHE IS REALLY PREGNANT.
A) She Isn't pregnant B) The Lodger was the last filmed. [editline]07:09PM[/editline] Also the Harry Potter actor that was rumoured to be in Doctor Who has been revealed. Michael Gambon (Dumbledore)is going to appear in this Christmas Special.
I thought it was gonna be that guy who played Lucius Malfoy. Also, seeing as Moffat said that the Christmas special will be "the most festive yet" (or something to that effect), will we be seeing Gambon playing Santa Claus?
-snip-
The christmas special is based on Christmas Carol with elements from "All your favourite Christmas films". All this info is on the official site. [editline]08:20PM[/editline] Rumours are raging now, Tom Baker rumoured to be part of "The Christmas Past"
There's a 'honeymoon moment' apparently.
He said "It's a honeymoon" but I doubt Amy and Rory will suddenly go for full frontal Christmas sex.
Crap, i need to stop believing my brother.
This Christmas episode is starting to feel really fucking good.
