Jesus Christ give them some credit. The Dalek had a designer just like anything else, they didn't pinch stuff from a skip. It's a pretty good technical accomplishment too. [editline]06:37PM[/editline] Wow, this is a really good issue of Doctor Who magazine. A LOOOONG interview with McCoy which is simply fantastic, and a REALLY good comic strip. Every comic strip so far has been childish and silly with crap art and stupid predictable OTT plot melded together with stupid. I usually stop reading them when The Doctor stops talking or looking like The Doctor. But this issue brings back an old enemy in a fantastic way. Really fucking good. Buy it, the comic and interview make it worth it.
I wasn't blaming them i was just saying that they probably scavenged anything they could for use. don't be a dick.
I wasn't. [editline]11:03PM[/editline] Dammit! We need Tom Baker back before he gets too old and dies. Do it while he wants to for the first time in nearly 30 years.
Yeah I really want to see Tom Baker back.
I just noticed some thing... I haven't seen one episode of this show maybe i should start watching it
Watching remembrance of the daleks, i love how they use a plasma globe as a 'Time Controller' :v:
OOh I'm going to go watch Invasion. Remembrance is next weeks adventure for me. Two Doctors is the week after.
Just finished watching it, half of the time I couldn't take it seriously because of the horrendously cheesy electric drums during the action sequences. Although I did enjoy it, and I really like McCoy as the Doctor.
The 80's music sucked. Except Survival's(It's on See-Saw if anyone wants to know) baooooowww daladadaooowwwwwwwwwwww.
Set inside the Tardis? Called it. Didn't somebody find the URL's for the remaining Doctor Who games? Wasn't one of them something about a shadow? So we can assume the next one is the vashta narada.
The title of the next Adventure Game has been confirmed as TARDIS and it's released on this site on Friday, 27 August. It will feature monsters, terrifying new dangers for the Doctor and Amy and offers an amazing insight into the world's most famous blue box. It's also been announced that the game will give players the opportunity to pilot the Doctor's iconic time machine. Lead Writer and Executive Producer, Steven Moffat, confirmed, 'Since 1963, kids have wondered what it would be like to control the TARDIS. Now we're handing complete control of the most powerful ship in all of space and time to a generation of children. Everybody duck!' He also told us, 'TARDIS is a brilliant, brilliant adventure. It's funny, touching, terrifying, amazing - everything a Doctor Who episode should be.' The official press release promised, 'the game allows players to explore the Doctor's wondrous drawing room, featuring treasures and artefacts from his many adventures - a location specially created for the game, which will go on to form part of the Doctor Who canon'. Matt Smith and Karen Gillan return as the Doctor and Amy and once again the game is executive produced by Steven Moffat, Piers Wenger, Beth Willis and Anwen Aspden (BBC Wales Interactive), alongside Charles Cecil. Music is by Murray Gold and TARDIS is written by James Moran whose previous credits include Torchwood, Spooks and the Tenth Doctor story, The Fires of Pompeii. It's the third Adventure Game and will be available at no extra cost to UK households, simultaneously on PC and Mac from this site. Users outside the UK will be able to purchase and download it on its UK release date, 27 August. We'll be bringing you updates and interviews as we get closer to TARDIS materialising!
http://www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/dw/news/bulletin_100820_01
I hate how all artwork depicts Amy in her VOTD or Angels two-parter outfit. Srsly. it's getting pretty annoying for me.
It's still hot. It's like Martha in her red jacket. Or rose in her union jack top/ blue t-shirt. [editline]12:50PM[/editline] Don't forget:
Matt Smith and Karen Gillan are to appear on The One Show, it has been reported today. The two will be joining new presenter Chris Evans on his first show tomorrow (Friday). The Sun reports that the pair came to the rescue of the show, which was having difficulty in booking a guest for the DJ's first outing on the revamped BBC1 magazine programme.
Jesus christ that last line. I think i nearly vomited. The sun really does chuff out alot of bullshit. [editline]01:09PM[/editline] Also, is it friday today? Or is it sunday? Or wednsday? I've been up all night so i can't even tell what time it is let alone the date. Bugger/
Watching remembrance of the daleks, i love how they use a plasma globe as a 'Time Controller' :v:
On the commentary they say something about how during production they were this cool new thing that no one had really seen before. By the time the episode aired you could buy them at Woolies. RIP Woolworths
Also, is it friday today? Or is it sunday? Or wednsday? I've been up all night so i can't even tell what time it is let alone the date. Bugger/
Calm down, it's only Friday, 20th August, 2010. Nothing's due to happen for a long time.
-Snip- I guess that all happened since the last time I refreshed the page. Sorryyyyy. :v:
I just noticed some thing... I haven't seen one episode of this show maybe i should start watching it
Start with the 2005 series, it's your best bet. Skip the Slitheen episodes.
So, who's going to crash the TARDIS on purpose in the new Adventure Game?
So, who's going to crash the TARDIS on purpose in the new Adventure Game?
*guiltily raises hand*
http://www.facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=988696 In case some of you missed it. I'm intrigued. I'm glad there will be at least ONE thing in the new series suggesting the TARDIS isn't just a console room and a wardrobe.
I already posted this.
Yeah, sorry about that. I saw it in the News section before refreshing, posted it, and was possessed to take a nap. Whoops.
wait is this show still on tv i mite start watching it
Series just finished. Go back to Series 1 (2005) and watch from their. It's worth it. Trust me. The show is 100% better when watching from the start with NO SPOILERS! Don't read shit. [editline]07:22PM[/editline] Also Matt and Karen on The One Show is good. They had a clip from the christmas special. It was two seconds long.
Yeah that's the one show for you. But by any chance do you have a clip?
Turns out my mum lied. I went out of the room when they showed a clip. It was just a crap blurry picture of Matt standing outside the TARDIS with a camera in his face.
Jesus christ. listening to Davros's theme is just. sex. Infact murray gold seems to be a godsend for audiophiles like me who love brash, epic scores. If Murray Gold doesn't win some sort of award for the Pandorica ending score then someone is being a fucking moron because it is the best peice of television music i have heard in the past 3 years. [editline]06:00AM[/editline] Also, is it just me or does Alex Kingston(to patronize you, river song.) look surprisingly hot for a 47 year old?(NO JOKE.)
