Really. it amazes me how you're all spamming shit like that when i'm talking about Doctor Who and all you're doing is going "COMRADE GENERAL IS A SHITPOSTING CUNT RERERERER" which is totally unrelated to the thread. You've just caused a black hole to form from the sheer hipocracy.
Ontopic: I hope the latest adventure game is more optimized than CoTD. because that was laggy as fuck for me except on medium.

I think it's because you're kind of embarrassing
[editline]06:57AM[/editline]
I mean if someone who's new to the series reads the thread and sees your posts they're going to think everyone here's five years old
Because everyone on facepunch is 16 or younger.
[editline]06:58AM[/editline]
Infact if someone thinks that based off of my posts they should see GD.
[QUOTE=Comrade General;24229855]Because everyone on facepunch is 16 or younger.[/QUOTE]
What
Wow you guys, at least comrade is contributing to thread, stop trying to validate yourselves here by trying to antagonize him over every post he makes. It makes you look like absolute mugs and I'd much rather see him post here than you people who just post here to tell him he's a terrible poster.

I'm gonna start reporting posts soon for thread de-railing.

On Topic:
For my Doctor Who intro, I'm redoing most of the render in V-Ray instead of Mental Ray to try and achieve a more fluid-like time vortex.
I tried to make a TARDIS in Source by exploiting how 3D skyboxes work but failed miserably :saddowns:
I hope someone makes a TF2 KOTH map of stonehenge with the pandorica in the middle, with I Am The Doctor playing for the first few mins or so. and when the round is won, the pandorica opens(With the inside concealed by a bright glow) then the Silence part of amy's theme plays. that would be boss.
I struggle to make rooms.

That would indeed be epic.
The RED Team is cracked. The control point will open. Stalemate will fall.
Now the TARDIS is 'wearing in' it's starting to look a lot more like the 2005-era one.
I approve.
That looks so awesome

Oh and to add to the epic. Once the round is over the music suddenly falls completely. utterly. silent. And there's searchlights sweeping round(Like when the doctor does his speech)
Note the metal structure behind the TARDIS. It's the future.

And the only hope of the universe is a BLU Scout who still believes in the scattergun.

I was gonna point that out - it looks like some sort of furnace or something.
Ok, this has been bugging me about Dr Who for a while, and I was wondering if you guys could help me out here.
At the end of the season finale, Dr. who uses the pandorica to reboot the universe, but it's a universe where he never existed. Before Amy remembered him, he never existed. So my question is, what happened to all the times Dr. who saved the day? Did they never happen?

Or some steelyard in surrey.
Good to see we've got a pic of the Christmas special...
A: Doesn't the new jacket look less drastic than those supposed pictures earlier?(Which i am convinced are a stunt double)
B: It's very. VERY. shiny. look at it.
Who are the people behind the Camera man?

It happened. At the end Amy basically remembered the Doctor which brought him back and everything he had done. But as one of the things he did was to fix the universe, that remained fixed too.

Extras. It will probably pan out.

A) It's not a stunt double. It's clearly Matt. Matt's face. Matt Matt. People their said it was Matt. The people taking the picture know who they are taking pictures of. Plus even if it was a stunt double, him and Matt would wear exactly the same costume.
B) No it's not. It's lighting. You won't notice it on film.
I still want David Tennant to come back. He can't obviously but he was the best Dr by far.

HUUUUUUGE disagree.
I like David Tennant as an actor. And it was a brilliant performance. But I didn't like that character at all.
Thanks to the hype when he announced he is leaving people suddenly think he is better than he was. Dare you to go back and watch his stuff. You always forget the bad bits. And their's a lot of them.

I don't remember any real bad bits. :colbert:

Yeah, actually he was quite good. The only bad bits were really down to the bilge writing in Series 4.

infact, i have all of his episodes including the specials on dvd. i watched them recently and don;t recall any bad bits at all. there were a couple bad episodes, but that's not his acting, that's the writing.
and some of the episodes were absolutely brilliant. i think he's an amazing actor. coming from stage acting has really helped because he is a lot more emotional in his acting than a lot of people who have only acted on tv.
It's safe to say Saphyra is one of the ones who really hate matt and suck tennant off.
Like i did when matt was announced(But that was due to the costume and hideous photoshopping. when i watched the first five seconds of 11th hour i came so hard)
I tried to watch David Tennant episodes the other day. I noticed the biggest difference between Moffat and RTD was that Moffat is just more, mature about it. I find RTD to be more, fantasy and over the place while Moffat is more structured and more proper in a way. I guess that's why people think Moffat's stuff is kind of boring, because it's nothing like the RTD ones.
And honestly, I'm so glad RTD is gone after watching the old ones. I found it almost embarrassing, how dramatic and dumb it was. Infact, the episode didn't even feel remotely like doctor who.
