A'ight guys, I'm back after my god-knows-how-long hiatus away from this thread.
Oh, OK, you all hate Comrade General now. OK then.
Actually, I really need to finish the second Doctor Who Adventure Game soon...
I don't hate him. Also someone comment on my TARDISes?
The lighting on the second one's pretty good, but the first and third are a bit on the small side. And the proportions on the second look a little off. Other than that, pretty cool :v:
They're the only episodes that have really creeped me out since the new series started.
The first time I saw 'Blink' it was 3am in the morning. :psyduck:
I just thought that Blink was incredible, took a while getting upstairs because I had to make sure nothing was there but I managed it :v:
I was more concerned about Barrowman kissing EVERYONE.
it's barrowman! you cant be saying that :O he's amazing.

Stop. Saying. You. Hate. Me. Just. To. Bandwagon. You. Are. Only. Shitposting.

He wasn't saying that he hated you, he was catching up on past events and noting that everyone seems to hate you.
Read it again.
Yup, both the Empty Child and the Doctor Dances were written by Moffat. They're the only episodes that have really creeped me out since the new series started. Best episodes in the first series in my opinion.
I watched them yesterday. Remember the banana jokes? Brilliant delivery by Eccleston.

actually that's true. i didn;t really like ecclestone but some of his joke deliveries were quite good
I haven't seen them in a looooong time, should probably find 'em and watch 'em at some point in the near future.
As rumoured some months ago - this post, for example - Doctor Who is to get a video game release on two Nintendo games systems. Return To Earth, for the Wii, and Evacuation Earth, for the DS, are both due for release late October/early November (Amazon states Oct 29, Play says Nov 19). Plans also include launching a remote control unit and stylus shaped like a sonic screwdriver. The title is produced by Asylum Entertainment and will also be released in Australia and Europe. Included here is the cover art and synopses for the games, click on them for bigger versions.

The Doctor and Amy arrive at the Lake District to watch the humans leave the planet. Suddenly the TARDIS gets lifted from them and bolted onto the evacuation ship. They have to make their way onto the ship before it leaves As the ship launches it has technical problems and they realise the Silurians have built a ship underneath. The Doctor finds a solution to make the ship work
Suddenly the Dalek ship smashes into the human one and splits the Silurian half off. It’s the Dalek ship that chased the Time Axis into the sun – they weren’t destroyed, they actually made a random jump several hundred years into the past
The Daleks are pleased that they can exact revenge on the Doctor but first they make him fix their ship. The Doctor goes along with their plan but tricks them into bolting the TARDIS onto their ship, which he promptly jumps into and uses to fling them into the nearest black hole

The Doctor and Amy help the SS Lucy Gray to return home to Earth, unravelling a Cyber Plot and preventing the Daleks from retrieving a lost Time Axis along the way. The Doctor and Amy arrive on a human colony ship returning to Earth after it was rendered uninhabitable by solar flares. Without provocation they are attacked by the ship’s maintenance robots and become separated in the struggle.
The Doctor is eventually led to the ship’s Head Quarters, where he discovers a Cyber Leader has connected himself to the ships AI and is blackmailing it into doing his bidding, or else he’ll kill the crew. Meanwhile the Cybermen that were hiding in the ship ambush Amy and chase her out into space.

Also, sonicing stuff with a Wii remote would be awesome.
i might actually have to get that :p
Interesting, another new Doctor Who game. Seems like the franchise is getting quite a few new games this year... I guess the BBC's caught onto the fact that video games are actually very awesome.
Yeah, now they just have to catch on to the fact that the ones they make aren't very good.
Yeah, now they just have to catch on to the fact that the ones they make aren't very good.
yeah, this is also true. the worst ones are the online ones. they're way too easy and lack any real plot
You can tell by the poorly made covers it's going to be bad.
The pictures of the Cybermen behind Matt and Karen is from S2 promotion art. Not only is it lazy and look fucking stupid, but you know that, with a name like "Return to Earth". Other than being notorious for making cheap games with crap graphics, the actual site for Asylum Entertainment explains nothing to the gamer. It's simply aimed at getting clients.

These games will suck hard. Like their other games.
Will be a crappy collection of mini games
Asylum Entertainment
Is that the same company that made these?

Has the way the doctor gets around regen limit been discussed yet?
dunno, ive just returned
alright then spoilers for big bang [sp]When amy brought back the doctor, she did not bring all of the doctors back, she only brought back the one she knew. IE the doctor has never regenerated in front of amy. Therefore she brought back a clean slate doctor with no regens whatsoever.[/sp]
If they go with that there's going to be so so many plotholes
But remember that this is a different universe thanks to Amy
That's not how the regen limit issue is addressed, fairly sure Moffat said that the regen issue was going to be addressed in series SIX. That's this series.
When the doctor gets brought back, he brings his whole history with him - all doctors.
I'm not supporting that theory but i think that much space and time colliding with reality at once would make the universe slowly collapse in on itself and end in a black hole singularity.

As in, The Doctor's probably the oldest fucking being in the universe

He had parents?
Weeping Angels are older than the timelords. So are Raston Warriors and the old gods seen in The Satan Pit.

And Captain Jack/Face of Boe.
I meant, overall and if you count his adventures, timetravel, etc.
