Just played TARDIS. It was quite good.
The best bit is at the end where you have to learn all the TARDIS controls, then take off without any help :psyduck:
Here's a video of sorts to my Colin vs. Smith matchup thing. Was a lot of fun to make.

Well.
That was fucking awesome.

Funnily enough, when there was a [SP]lever[/sp] I just chose that and got it right, seemed to be right. Is what i'd have done :D
I'm playing the adventure games now(I won't spoiler tag this bit because it's hardly a spoiler)
As i probably said about COTD. The FUCKING bits where you have to drag components into holes past electrical pulses is fucking rageworthy. It was one of the main reasons i felt as if City Of The Daleks was slightly soured to the taste.
Not to mention if you fuck up after getting one component in it resets it completely.
[editline]12:15AM[/editline]
Alright. It's not my insanely wonky hands like i assumed it was. I just went past by about a quarter of an inch and it set it off. What. The collision detection is like a drunk toddler wearing a bucket on its head in a maze of elephants.

Isn't that hard, jeez. If you can't face a challenge, why play a game.
DURP I HAVE A MEDICAL CONDITION THAT LEADS TO COLD AND SHAKY HANDS I CANNoT FACE A CHALLENGE. I SHOULD NOT PLAY VIDEO GAMES.
I remember that bit with so much frustration. I seriously that to get into "the zone" to beat those puzzles, really concentrating. Didn't help that it ran at like 10-15 FPS on my machine, so it felt like guiding a drunken elephant through a minefield. (my old machine's so shit that it's got a cistern and a flushing handle attached)
Still, it was mildly satisfying to finally beat that bastard. I much prefer the Blood of the Cybermen puzzles, though.
Especially the Tinkerbell Jesus doctor in Last Of The Time Lords. Where RTD sat down for five minutes with a coke and wondered how he could get out of this, and went "Doctor = Jesus!" and scrambled to his computer.
That's actually a reference to way older episodes. I believe either an older book or an older episode said that The Master's biggest fear was seeing the Doctor as an all-powerful, god-like figure.

That was a complete arse pull when it was delivered though. It could have been built up or atleast talked about beforehand.

Meh. If it was built up it wouldn't have been much of a moment, because we would have known about it, and therefore it would have come as no surprise. I liked the seemingly hopelessness of the situation.

Yes but it was a complete ruin of the story as it combined atrocious writing ettiquette and horrible special effects.

It's a BBC1 family program, I think you're looking too hard into it

No i'm not. Fuck off. Something can have unique or complex plots and be suitable for all ages. Re-watch every episode of series 5. Then you will just burst into tears of laughter and fear at Series 3's deus ex machinima.

No, I won't
because it's a BBC1 family program and I don't expect deep, intricate plots
[editline]10:12AM[/editline]
If you want deep [sp]dumb[/sp] "complex" plots go watch twilight or avatar or whatever
[editline]10:13AM[/editline]
No matter how much you whine on an internet forum it will ALWAYS be a family program first
[editline]10:13AM[/editline]
Oh I just remembered, you can always go and watch torchwood, that was for adults right???
It's people like you who make a good show look bad, anyone new here is going to think everyone is an angst-filled 10 year old

Fun fact: The people making the WII and DS Doctor Who games, made Destiny of The Doctors.

Wow, arsehole.
It's a TV programme. Get over it. Some episodes are badly written but so what, some are excellent. Just don't watch the bad ones, it's not the end of the world.

Contradicts his love of things :colbert:
Comrade general hates every series except series 5.

His problem is that the devs are being lazy by just cut-pasting the same puzzles from previous games.
Comrade general hates every series except series 5.
No. I just really fucking detest that retarded "Clap your hands if you believe and the doctor will be a god lol" shit that was shot out of nowhere.

Also yes.
It's like a blind man entering a staring contest.
because unnaturally shaky hands are as bad as not being able to see :downs:
Oh so THATS why you type shit all the time
Alright i'm gonna go ahead and say shut the fuck up now because you're all ridiculously derailing the thread.

:irony:
So I recently discovered the incredible awesomeness of Doctor Who, and I was wondering:
In the beginning of series 5, the doctor was different. Was there something I missed between 4 and 5?
he regenerated
