I liked it all apart from the companion he picked up for 2 episodes.
9 and 11 always seemed open to more than one companion. 9 even invited Mickey along the first time he properly met him. He invited Linda too. He just didn't want to be alone :(
:(
Adam was the companion he took but he didn't like Adam and Adam was a fuckwit

Does it make him a good companion? Considering we hate him so much? I mean, that's a sign of a strong character.

Finished my Dalek today, death ray looks a bit weird but it didn't render properly so I had to work with what I had (because I spent hours rendering this)

yes
In my opinion, if you really dislike a character for a decision he made, it's good acting and writing. Strong character, poor companion.

Yeah but you just want to hate him so much
He wasn't exactly a strong character though, when you think about it
I have a card I got from the Toronto Fan Expo that allows you to download the whole Doctor Who Series 5 off of iTunes (free) if anyone wants it.
May i please have it???
I sent the code
I watched the Van Gough episode again... man this is hands down my favorite episode. It's so emotional... It's so well done... it's just brilliant.
But damn it I want Van Gough as a companion! Get to him right before he kills himself and take him away on some god damned adventures! He better come back because he was fantastic.
I watched the Van Gogh episode again, and I was a lot more impressed on that rewatch. The first time I thought it was really bad, but now I think it's one of the better episodes in Season 5

You catch a lot of subtle things that you miss the first time in that episode, such as Van Gogh's pause at hearing that Amy and the Doctor would be leaving come the next day.
On that screwdriver, where's the screen to read results from scanning? Not that wii one, the actual screwdriver. It seems like it's just a tiny milky white round thing with no screen
Maybe it downloads the information to the Doctor's brain using some sort of telepathic uploading mechanism, similar to the psychic paper?
I still want Russell Tovoy as the doctor, been watching that 'Him & Her' and he suits it, but whether he's a bit too similar to what Matt Smith would be..
I had the same problem with Eccles when Tennant came into it. Still can't watch Tennant. It's VERY human.
Christmas day probably at 7 is the most recent we know of

Ham And Cheese.
Large ham is a term for MASSIVELY overACTING YOUR WORDS. Which tennant was rather partial to.
Also cheese because goddamn tennant somehow delivered even the most epic lines in such a way that they smelt like gorgonzola.
He wasn't bad, Just he OVERACTED HIS WORDS alot and made them cheesy alot.
I don't get it, why the cheese and meat?
It's Comrade General, nuff said.

I think its something to do with that TV thing that has its own in-jokes that nobody in the real world understands.

in this case it was a valid picture

In the last week I have made the following posts about Doctor Who in this thread
Series 2 was good, 3 was excellent, 4 was bilge. The only redeeming episodes of Series 4 were Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead
Planet of the Dead was good, but the other 3 specials were rubbish.

Woo I made that TARDIS model.

Isn't Doctor Who open-canon?

Adventure Game #3 dubbed "TARDIS" is released tomorrow.
This is the intro: http://downloads.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/d11s01/wish_you_were_here_james_moran.pdf
And yes. Amy says 'timey wimey'.

Just played TARDIS. It was quite good.
The best bit is at the end where you have to learn all the TARDIS controls, then take off without any help :psyduck:

This is excellent news. I assume they are splitting it 6/7?
Top Gear do it and it helps keep the format fresh.

It's 7 in spring, 6 in Autumn + Christmas Special

Wild speculation so no spoiler tags required!
I think River Song will kill somebody or do something terrible at the end of Half 1 and then Half 2 will explain why she did it.
[editline]03:41PM[/editline]
About 3 or 4. Episodes are still 45 minutes long.

Doubt it, Doctor Who has traditionally been on a Saturday.

I thought Moffat wanted to start at Series 1, so it would be Series 2 and Series 3?
Or going by the old system its 32 / 33.
To us it will always be 6/7.
God its confusing.

I thought they'd managed to restore several of the lost episode by using concept art or watercolour stills with the audio track?

Apparently, the 'game changer' is that [sp]Amy leaves or is killed at the end of the Spring Series[/sp]

He also wrote a lot of The League of Gentlemen which is the funniest thing the BBC have made in the last 20 years.

Couldn't you just record them off the TV?
So there goes that theory.
It's a Fascinating coincidence that most of them were when i was banned or offline, isn't it? It's almost as if you take a sadistic pleasure in getting me banned. isn't it?

No, it's simply that you shit this thread up so much that I only post in it when you are banned.
