That doesn't explain anything except why it's bigger on the inside.
If he knows how it works, he knows it's engineered. Which they are, that was why The Doctors TARDIS was so important, it was an older model.
There's a "Retro Sci-Fi" challenge on b3ta.

Some of the entries are quite funny and Doctor Who related.
Saw this on that site:

But this is better:

And 'official'. The plot:
Someone has painted the Doctor’s likeness into a famous poster, and it leads him and Mrs Wibbsey to Paris in the 1890s, home of countless artisans and their muses. There is murder on the streets, and whispers that Toulouse-Lautrec is to blame. Immersed in both the delights of the Moulin Rouge and the shadows of Montmarte Cemetary, the travelers soon discover the gruesome truth . . .
There are better ones.

There's also one of the TARDIS materialising at The Last Supper somewhere.

Jesus Christ that's amazing.
I bet that was Tom Baker who piloted that TARDIS.
my favourite doctor is probably mcgann. he did quite a good role for only about an hour and a half of screentime.
Dan2593 do you have any other those write your own episode things for next season?
i found a cyberman suit in a second-hand bag of clothes at a charity shop. sadly it wasn't an original but rather a 2006 cyberman. and it looks like its had its jaw removed due to cancer.

It kinda died.
Good shots of Matt's outfit

Its almost exactly the same. The casual viewer wont notice any difference.
Love the shirt Matt has.
But I love Arthur's shirt more. I want that shirt.

The bright white shirt is hard to miss.
I'm sure everybody will notice that.
But the tweed change is harder to sport.

Doubt it. I was talking to someone who didn't even realise the 10th Doctor had a brown suit and a blue suit.
I like how each doctor's outfit changes very slightly every series that they're in, gives a sense of continuity for casual viewers whilst simultaneously making it new and fresh, and if anything just giving something for the more hardcore fans to talk about.
Here's another picture

I guess the eleventh Doctor is now being portrayed by Jeff Goldblum
guess his enemies will use Mac OS. and the universe exploding will be accompanied by the mac death chimes...
..as orchestrated by murray gold. so it'll be awesome.
Brainy specs?
fuck yes.

"casual viewer"? opposed to the hardcore viewer?
What a long way until April :(
Brainy specs?

I assumed that was just Matt not filming
It kinda died.
Ahh that kinda sucks, ive only look at the first for first time in a while and this looked very interesting, any chance of starting it up again?
I just got a Doctor who Shirt, i have to grow into it tho.
I watched the three doctors the other day. It's amazingly how similar Patrick Troughton and Matt Smith portray the doctors, yet remain different
Is it just me, or when Tom Baker as the Doctor smiles, it just seems, real creepy....

Doctor Who showrunner Steven Moffat has revealed more details of the cliffhanger ending to the first half of the next series.
It was previously announced that the show's sixth run will be split in half, starting in spring 2011 and returning in the autumn.
"There will be a huge cliffhanger... that we wouldn't normally do at the end of a series of Doctor Who because it would be too long before it came back," Moffat told Doctor Who Magazine. "[It is] an enormous, game-changing cliffhanger for the Doctor, Amy and Rory. It will change everything for them."
Moffat promised that forthcoming episodes will contain revelations involving the Doctor's friendship with Amy Pond.
He teased: "You will see the Doctor's life change forever, you will gasp in astonishment at the true nature of his relationship with Amy and you will cry out in horror as Rory Williams stumbles to the brink of a tragic mistake."
Doctor Who will return to BBC One this Christmas.

Apparently they've also just finished filming Episode 4.

I really hope not. I love the Doctor's brainy specs.

I thought they just finished Episode 3.
Have they done both? They might be doing them at the same time.
I think Episode 1 is next up.

No, just finished 4. 3 is next.
This is as of yesterday.
i bet rory accidentally causes a chain reaction resulting in amy murdering the doctor at the end of part 1.
I hope not, because we've already had "MAIN CHARACTER HAS DIED" as a cliff hanger.
We haven't had "you're the most important person in the whole universe" for a couple of years.
Oh wait, yes we have.
