Well, to br honest none of the main cast of the SJA are brilliant actors. I guess they might have chosen the actor for Luke because he's supposed to have been grown, and only have a limited idea of how to act as a human or something.
At least, that'd probably be his excuse if you accused his acting as being wooden.
When you stick the kids next to Elizabeth, Matt or Katy it shows.
Dear Doctor Who.
I want to see 11 meet The Brigadier. I understand last time you tried this the actor had a stroke, and he is still currently unwell, but this would be a brilliant meeting. I want to find out what he's doing in Peru. I bet it's Cybermen. It should be Cybermen. Brig and the Cybermen. And 11. And Amy Pond. Oh, Brig could have a cute crush on Amy. Rory could get jealous. It's perfect. And end it with The Brig being killed. He needs an end to his story. It would give Amy and Rory a dark look at their future. Don't kill them two anymore. It stopped being fun.
Love,
me.
Dear Dan.
That's a pretty good idea. Wouldn't be entirely surprised if it happened in a future series.
Sincerely,

And before you ask, yes, we do indeed go through your mail when it's addressed to Doctor Who :v:
Truth be told i... Liked. that episode of SJA. But really only the ten-twentysomething minutes that the shansheeth seemed at all worthwhile. I hope they're considered purely ill-intentioned undertakers instead of enemies.
Also SJA:alien files is just bad, DVDs do exist.

that would be pretty cool
also I don't watch SJA at all I keep wondering what you're all talking about
Last two episodes had the Doctor and Jo Grant in them. They're on iPlayer, about twenty minutes to half an hour for each episode. Check 'em out, they're kinda cool.
Sorry to snip, just a warning, anyone who likes Torchwood too, don't get taken in and buy the new comic, it sucks.
I was in Forbidden Planet today and had a look, looks pathetic
Further annoyed at the fact that I couldn't find the Deadpool comic I wanted and the Kick-Ass 2 comic was too expensive to be worth buying :frown:
I just watched both of the Angel episodes, holy fuck they were scary.
God dammit angel Bob.
So, I've never seen any episode of Doctor Who, but I've meant to for a long time. Where is the best place to start?

Series 3, In my opinion.
Start with the fourth doctor, seriously.
Ignore the above suggestions, they're hardened fan opinions and have deep underlying feelings of nostalgia, synicalism and debate.
Start with Series 1 from 2005, it's designed for new viewers and will ease you into the fiction and show easily.
Then it's fun.

Or find it on your region of Amazon. I'm assuming you're .Com.
Or if you're lazy just start from the beginning of the latest series and google the bits that don't make sense.

Kickass was too expensive? I got it for £3 in Forbidden Planet O.o

I agree with Dan, 2005 season is probably the best place to start, it reboots everything and re-explains most things anyway, because it was a whole different generation of audience. Plus there are some rather epic episodes that you'd miss if you jumped straight in at the latest series.
Thanks guys, they have that season on instant play for netflix, away I go!
EDIT: I'm starting the fourth episode, the one with Dickens was amazing.
"My books, do they last?"
"Yes."
"For how long?"
"Forever."
synicalism
Did you mean: Cynicism
Personally, I hated the Slitheen episodes. I mean, it's a bit too cocked up for me to take at face value, even for DW standards. I will always love that one "RING DAMN YOU!" line, but other than that, the Slitheen were a poor excuse for a villain.

Aww :')
Keep us posted with what you think as you go along.
^ Agreed again. I'd love to see reactions from someone who's never seen the series, so yeah, please keep us informed.
At the moment, I am unable to watch 'Luke' from the SJA without thinking to myself "I saw him in Cardiff...". Does anyone else have a strange reaction when they see someone on television who they have seen in real-life?
BTW when I was on my travels in Cardiff I walked past him as he was drinking a milkshake (he had also kinda geled his hair which was strange...) but I was so lost for words I could not stop him in time and regret not doing so... I really wanted to ask what it was like working with David Tennant :(
was watching the apprentice and noticed there was a soundtrack exactly the same as in doctor who series 4, episode 1

Daym! This is why I want to go to uni in Cardiff, so much awesome stuff gets filmed there now that there's a chance of meeting so many of my favourite BBC actors.
So, I just started the Parting of the Ways.
I really liked The Empty Child and The Doctor Dances (The WW2 "Are you my mummy" ones) though I'm not too sure about this Captain Jack. But I did love JUST THIS ONCE, NOBODY DIES!"
Also, my immediate reaction to the Dalek army reveal and the Doctor giving the whole "I'm going to rescue her, save the Earth, and to top it off, I'm going to destroy every stinking Dalek in the sky!" was:
OOOOOOOOOOOHHHHH SHIT!
Really awesome.
Most of the Christopher Eccleston series was awesome :v:
Holy fuck, now he's David Tennant.
Also, new avatar, FUCK YEAH!
EDIT:
"Harriet Jones, Prime Minister."
EDIT EDIT:
Finished the first episode of season 2. I think Tennant will do just fine.

Why do I find what you said so funny?
Anyway, I really need to re watch the 2005 episodes again, and get a new computer mouse because mine is on the verge of breaking as I type.
Oh well, looks like I've got some stuff to do tomorrow!
Oh, and has anyone seen "The Happiness Patrol"? I don't know why, but I find the idea of The Doctor and Ace escaping an open prison on a slow moving Go-kart that happened to be right next to them while being chased by a group of zealot feminists who ban sadness hilarious.

Progression of a Who fan.
I wish I was seeing these stories for the first time
I'm on Season 4, the last episode.
[sp]The Master is everyone... and.. and oh god I hope Tennant doesn't die, he's so cool![/sp]
[sp].... I'm rather speechless atm...[/sp]
I'm actually kinda shaking from S4 ending.
