I have type 1 diabetes. Before I found out (Like, just before I went to the hospital) I was drinking a shitload of water and pissing every 10 minutes.
Yeah but you're probably going to shoot yourself before reaching toxic amounts of water, because it's unpleasant as fuck to drink water when you're not thristy.
Also, people saying that you should drink when you're thirsty, that's too late.
this guy is like thirsty all the time
4 Liters isn't normal, for someone who doesn't exercise much. Doesn't DIABUTUS spark an increase in thirst?
EDIT:Didn't read Mowsys' post. I really suggest going to the doctor.

Isn't this a sign of diabetes.. or even worse prostate cancer. Not kidding, all of my cousins and my sister are med students so I'm pretty sure they are right about that sort of stuff.

Like somebody else said, I just read Mowsy's post.
clear urine? clear urine is a sign of over-hydration, that's not good.
it's healthier than under-hydration
"dehydration"
not when you are going to the bathroom for 20 minutes
i mean, 2 or 3 liters a day can be way too much for some people, and way too little for others
i have to drink at least 5 liters a day due to my metabolism

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - A woman who competed in a radio station’s contest to see how much water she could drink without going to the bathroom died of water intoxication, the coroner’s office said Saturday.
Jennifer Strange, 28, was found dead Friday in her suburban Rancho Cordova home hours after taking part in the “Hold Your Wee for a Wii” contest in which KDND 107.9 promised a Nintendo Wii video game system for the winner.
“She said to one of our supervisors that she was on her way home and her head was hurting her real bad,” said Laura Rios, one of Strange’s co-workers at Radiological Associates of Sacramento. “She was crying and that was the last that anyone had heard from her.”

It was not immediately know how much water Strange consumed.
A preliminary investigation found evidence “consistent with a water intoxication death,” said assistant Coroner Ed Smith.
John Geary, vice president and marketing manager for Entercom Sacramento, the station’s owner, said station personnel were stunned when they heard of Strange’s death.
“We are awaiting information that will help explain how this tragic event occurred,” he said.
Initially, contestants were handed eight-ounce bottles of water to drink every 15 minutes.
“They were small little half-pint bottles, so we thought it was going to be easy,” said fellow contestant James Ybarra of Woodland. “They told us if you don’t feel like you can do this, don’t put your health at risk.”
Ybarra said he quit after drinking five bottles. “My bladder couldn’t handle it anymore,” he added.
After he quit, he said, the remaining contestants, including Strange, were given even bigger bottles to drink.
“I was talking to her and she was a nice lady,” Ybarra said. “She was telling me about her family and her three kids and how she was doing it for kids.”
When i went to school, I drank very much water. The teachers got worried and asked me if i had diabetes.
Just drink mineral water once in a while and you'll be ok.
A lady near where I lived when onto a Radio station where they had a Chug Water - Win a Wii contest, right in time for the holidays.
This woman drank the most and won the Wii, but ended up in the hospital because she wasn't doing well and ended up OD'ing from water.
True story, its really scary seeing as how I moved to a strictly Water as my liquid diet.
Saves around 500,000 calories a year so I figured I would do it.
I drink about 5-6 bottles a day, so like 2.5 Litres, not as much as you though!
I thought pee was supposed to be clear when you drink lots of water... Shows its dilution
For about a week i've been drinking about 4-5 litres of water a day, I don't do any actual exercise ( other than walking, doing daily chores and what not ) and I wondered if this was a health risk, I know your supposed to drink atleast 2 litres a day.
You saw the kidney stone thread too, huh?
When I was at work I use to drink about 5 litres a day, it was my entertainment to see hom much I could drink before needing to pee.
Well looks like I have diabetes too then, I can take down 6-7 litres a day with no problem, when it's hot I even drink more.
The problem is that I don't get the satisfaction when you are thirsty and drink a cup of some good mineral water, It will make me more thirsty as I am already and I crave for more.
I sometimes even drink from boredom.
Maybe OP could give a couple pointers to the kidney stone guy.
Yeah, i was about to suggest get yourself checked for diabetes if you are drinking a ton!

You don't die from drinking too much, you die because there would be too much water in your body and not enough salt and other minerals, which is why drinks like Gatorade are recommended for sports.
yor gona fukin die :downswords:
i drink 1 litre per week :C
