TBH TribeTwelve isn't all that bad, just some moments make me question why I'm watching
And I really like the Collective as well. Seeing the Slender Man standing with all these being of power operating the universe is unnerving, and the idea is great
I keep meaning to watch TribeTwelve, but I'm always put off by the Observer. It just looks so silly.
It seems like a decent series, but honestly, from what I've heard, they're trying too hard. Is it still worth watching?

Yes it is worth watching. It's pretty creepy, the idea is great. But the acting is pretty horrible, not gonna lie. But I really like the story.

I was hoping for a new EMH, since it was thanksgiving and all, but no such luck. I like DH, but I'm not all that sucked into it lately. I want Season 3 of MarbleHornets to start, and I want a new EMH some time this year.
Speaking of EMH, I'm really confused as to why their video output is so low. I get that they're probably busy with stuff, but really, how much time does it take to shoot a quick video of just the boys talking? Shoot yourself doing something mundane, add in some distortion, bam, new Slender Man video. It literally takes, like, five minutes to shoot something quick and easy. I get that they're trying to have quality updates when they do update, but fuck, I'd honestly take anything, at this point. EMH seems deader than disco at this point.

They pretty much stopped the mundane style not long after they were done with the whole exercise jig. I would love something with quality, but I agree, anything is acceptable at this point.
It's kinda bad when a new EMH video is on your Christmas list. And I do hope DH gets back into the action quite soon, it was awesome during the first arc.
Also a new TribeTwelve is supposed to be in about a week or two. I really don't think TT deserves all the crap it gets, even though I am one who contributed to the roasting. The effects are good, the acting is sub-par, and the story has picked up since the Submissions. Not much to complain about, at least, I don't see it.

My issue is that the acting is unbearable. I agree that the effects are great and the storyline is alright, just, the bad acting makes it unwatchable for me. I'm a big acting guy. I put a lot more emphasis on performance rather than presentation. When there were murmurings of TribeTwelve and EverymanHYBRID merging into one series, I actually kind of liked the idea. EverymanHYBRID has amazing acting, just, their effects are a little hokey sometimes. If there was a series with the effects of TribeTwelve and the acting/characters of EverymanHYBRID, it would really be perfect.

Sometimes I think the character Noah acts as I would in these situations.
"Fuck! Oh shit! What the fucking hell was tha- WOAH Look at that tall piece of shit, get outta my house you bastard!"
But really there should be some reasonable moments where he can sit down and actually think of something else to say. IMO we shouldn't be so hard on him, but rather just give a bit of constructive criticism and hope that he'll take it. Besides, there are plenty of other series out there if he isn't open to suggestion. After all, I gotta hand it to him, his series is 100x better than any shit I could make.

I think some of his reactions are reasonable, but it's like he takes "i'm afraid and cussing" and copy/pastes it into every single situation. Sometimes he totally overreacts to the smallest things. Like, early on when whoever called that broken phone and was acting all creepy, he started seriously flipping the fuck out. If someone called me on the phone and was being creepy I would probably be a little freaked out, but I'd just hang up the fucking phone and then not answer it again. Problem solved.
Or when he was in the park and he was running around like a chicken with his head cut off and screaming and crying, it's like, get out of the fucking park. Besides, Slender Man doesn't do shit in any of these videos. He just kind of stands there and is menacing. I'd just ride my bike past him and be like "sup bro".

If only he could gauge his reactions better, I would totally be into it. Sure if the Observer's in his house, I 'd be pretty freaked out too. Same if I found a foreign device in my home that was used for spying on me.
But if some creepy fuck's in my house, I call the cops or grab a bat and sit down and think reasonably, not stare at the door, laugh, and scream "WHO THE FUCK IS OUT THERE, I'M COMING FOR YOU, JUST GIVE ME TO THE COUNT OF THREE. ONE. TWO. THREE. FUCK IT, YOU WIN." I mean, wouldn't you keep some form of defense with you in your house if this shit started going down to you? I mean, I'd always make sure I had it with me or by my bed or something. It's like he's not thinking in between the Observer's shenanigans. Sure, he says the cops won't listen, or "they're too afraid," but still, a grown man should be able to defend himself, even if it is pointless he should still show the effort. It would make him seem more human.
That too. If someone's in your house, or outside your house, or is somewhere near you and is trying to hurt you, grab a kitchen knife or a baseball bat or something. I mean, everyone said it didn't work when Evan hit Slendy with the baseball bat, but hey, it made him leave, right?
