GRAPEFRUITS ARE BULLSHIT
YOU'RE BULLSHIT!
How did they even pitch that idea to each other? "Okay, so, the premise is, Joseph shows up in a pair of short shorts and tries to touch a grapefruit that's making weird noises at him. Then it turns out the grapefruit is Tim, who is acting very gay. Then, after the credits, Joseph eats the grapefruit while crying." Seriously what the fuck
GARRY OH GOD GARRY YOU FUCKED UP THE SNOWFLAKES THEY'RE HUGE WHY
I like how Evan works at a martial arts training class but when he's getting his ass kicked suddenly WOAH DEFENSELESS TELEPORTUS NECKSNAPPIUS
Have you ever been in a fight? If some guy randomly shows up while your guard is completely down, who is much bigger and stronger than you, and starts beating you up, it's kind of impossible to get a good defense up. Fighting in real life isn't how it is in movies. You can't start getting your ass kicked and then suddenly pull out a karate counter and start beating the shit out of the other guy. Generally if you take one or two good punches right away, you're done. HABIT apparently possessed Evan and helped him win, and the three of them ended up at a field where Evan killed Nick. This all, of course, is a plotline from the CanYouSeeTheWords blog, where a post by a guy named 'Nick' posted about how HABIT had been training him to kill someone, and that he was going to try and become HABIT's permanent host. As you can see, things didn't go according to plan.
Now I feel all stupid
I honestly cannot follow that series.
I honestly cannot follow that series.
Why not? You need to follow one blog, one twitter, and one youtube channel.
Why not? You need to follow one blog, one twitter, and one youtube channel.
I personally like it when they add side channels, It makes it more fun to find which piece goes where, if that makes any sense.
I personally like it when they add side channels, It makes it more fun to find which piece goes where, if that makes any sense.
As do I. I don't see how it's remotely hard to follow. The average person on the internet follows more than one youtube channel, more than one blog, and more than one twitter account anyways. I mean, there's even a wiki for EverymanHYBRID that has a timeline of stuff you should read if you're late to the series. It's so ridiculously easy to follow.
God that video was fucked up. That had to be the same Nick from the CYSTW blog post, which ended with HABIT saying Nick was ready and strong enough to fight another one of his "experiments." So I guess Evan was the other experiment. Maybe HABIT put those cameras there to monitor his lab rat or Vince did, hence his role of "Voyeur." And I guess HABIT might have been filming the fight parts too. And how it says Even's stereo turned on when Nick entered, well, that happens a lot when HABIT is around.
i have a feeling that something is there at the frame where the camera turns off at 8:51. can someone try to get a pic of that?

I don't feel like re-watching it and including the side channels and blog.
that was really fucking good
No, I watched every entry in the series, then saw that there were side channels and a blog. I don't feel like re-watching it and including the side channels and blog.
Can you really not remember at all what happened in the video series, to the point where reading some blog posts and some twitter posts would just completely destroy your perception of the series? There's one side channel, and you don't even need to follow it. It's Jeff's little brother, and his videos are generally just vague foreshadowing. You don't need to watch them at all to follow the series. Like, it's seriously not hard. At all.
So guys, I've been thinking on that last video and noticed something. Highlights from the video are the title, "OUTSIDE HELP" and the text "The rules are broken." It seemingly relates to the Trials, which would have made sense if the boys hadn't had been eliminated from the Trials after Trial 4, I believe. So what could that have meant, and what help might the boys have gotten? Well, as we know, Nick was inHABITED during the brawl. Evan described the rift warp to the hiking trail as "someone knocking on the inside of my head, saying 'I can help, we can take him, I can help." and then being taken over and warped to the tree. If HABIT was in Nick, then maybe some other force overtook Evan? I mean, it's not like HABIT would have entered them both at once, since then it wouldn't really determine the better host, which was more than likely the point of the fight. And "We can take him, I can help" doesn't sound like something HABIT would say when facing himself. Remember during HALLOWEEN HANGOVER at the beginning with that lower-case, curvy font? Maybe there are some other forces acting here. Just my two cents. Or maybe I'm over thinking things again.

It's also possible that HABIT was inHABITing both of them in order to make it a fair fight, since it's been shown in the CYSTW Blog that he can inHABIT a bunch of people at the same time. Then again, Nick may not have even been inHABITed, since he was already aware of what he needed to do, and was preparing for it. I doubt that there are two body-possessing demons at work here. That'd be a little silly.
How is it hard to follow? Tell us what you're confused about, rather than just going "I'm confused."
Here. What the fuck is going on passed ashen waste. I'm being serious, I'm not being an asshole, I'm not trolling.

Although I think that Nick may have been inHABITED whenever he came to Evan in the basement and when he took them both over, he either warped them himself or had the Big Guy do it for him. Remember that Nick was smiling the whole time he was beating on Evan and Evan's stereo was blasting suddenly, a sign of HABIT. Maybe he left them both when they got to the tree, and maybe he took someone else over and filmed Nick trying to complete his objective and Evan trying to defend himself. I think that it would also be silly if HABIT had inHABITED them both because he would essentially be fighting himself, and he obviously wanted a true winner otherwise he would have killed Nick or his family and him would have gone unbothered by HABIT. So, Grim Joker, what do you think the "outside help" clues mean? I am sure it has nothing to do with the Trials since the boys are for sure out of them. [editline]8th December 2011[/editline]
Here. What the fuck is going on passed ashen waste. I'm being serious, I'm not being an asshole, I'm not trolling.
Maybe you're just being confused since the series tends to jump between different time periods [and fucking dimensions] thanks to HABIT, the Big Guy, and Snoopy trying to fuck the boys up as best as they can.
Here. What the fuck is going on passed ashen waste. I'm being serious, I'm not being an asshole, I'm not trolling.
...? Seriously? Like, you couldn't follow a single thing after Ashen Waste? Okay, uh, Ashen Waste pretty much confirms Jessa is dead/gone. After that it goes back to the regularly scheduled program of the boys being terrorized by monsters. Alex's Dog gets killed by The Rake. Jeff and Alex lock The Rake in Alex's Bedroom, but he just leaves through a window or something. They also discover that the crawlspace in Alex's Room somehow leads to the abandoned house they found in the park, but after awhile, they found out that the crawlspace is sealed, despite the fact that nobody went back there who could have sealed it. After that updates got really slow. Basically HALLOWEEN HANGOVER and OUTSIDE HELP are the only super relevant videos since then. [editline]8th December 2011[/editline]
Maybe you're just being confused since the series tends to jump between different time periods [and fucking dimensions]
When does it do that? It's only conjecture that some of the hidden videos are in another dimesnion/time period or whatever. We're not really supposed to understand those yet. EverymanHYBRID is seriously easy to follow. Just because there are mysteries in the series that we aren't supposed to understand yet doesn't mean it's hard to follow. I mean, it's no harder to follow than things like Inception or something like that. Just pay attention and you'll get it.

A lot of people are confused about them. Most of them seem to take place in the future and I have just taken notice that many people seem to just be like "DUDE WHEN DID EVAN GET HANDCUFFS I THINK YOU NEED TO REUPLOAD YOUR VIDS DUDE I MISSED SOMETHING"

Or maybe I'm over thinking things again.
There's a shitty slenderman in the background at the first few seconds of the video Considering how slenderman is known to make people go crazy and become enraged (Alex beating the guy's head in with a rock, one of the early Darkharvest00 episodes, Noah sort of loses it while looking around his house in the dark), it's possible that Slenderman caused Nick to start beating up Evan, followed by HABIT going inside Evan, causing the Teleportus Necksnappius. Also considering how HABIT was inside Evan and apparently threatening Slenderman with a meat cleaver in one of the hidden videos ("I will fuck you up the next chance I get") and their little hissy fit on twitter a long time ago, it seems like HABIT used this to get back at him. Also Grim Joker's theory is entirely probable as well, getting two people to fight to the death while recording it with cameras and posting it on youtube seems like typical HABIT behavior. As a side note, did anyone notice how Evan says he was just playing Splattethouse alone when Nick comes out of nowhere and attacks him? In the beginning Nick and Evan are talking and they both seem fine. Evan might have said that to make it seem like killing him was justified or something, I dunno
