New Trial for people who are still doing the Seven Trials of Habit for EMH. Trial Six says you need to stand out in front of some kind of municipal building and demand that they step down and that Habit be elected instead.
Sounds more comical than sinister, to be honest. These trials are pretty retarded.

Actually it's happened in several blogs, most notably in the blog 'Seeking Truth', which chronicles the adventures of Cowboy Cop Zeke Strahm. He tries shooting Slender Man on multiple occasions, but he says that he doesn't even see them hit him. They just vanish on impact.
i think it's similar to when bullets are shot at Bec (if anyone knows what i'm talking about).

I always thought that slendy's overall plan is to drive people insane from the paranoia of being stalked and then kidnap them while they're weak.
But after reading some of the other slender man stories other than most of the video-based ones, my theory is disproved greatly. Not to mention masky(s) came at them with a knife, obviously trying to kill them.

I just find that it's dragging quite a bit, and that it's lost a lot of the luster it originally had. It doesn't really provide scares or effects on par with MarbleHornets or TribeTwelve, and the writing for it is somewhat shoddy at times.
I dislike the fact that HABIT curses like a sailor. It can work for an antagonist, but it's not really sinister or threatening whatsoever. It makes him seem more human than monster, which takes away a lot of his... I dunno, mystery.
I also find that the plot line, while complex and at times refreshing compared to other series, has some obvious parts where it's influenced by Out Of Game stuff. Like, it leaks into the series a lot, even if you aren't following the outside stuff. When they showed The Rake once, and then never showed him up close or even from afar again despite his presence, it kind of reeked of the fact that they didn't have him prepared for the series yet. Especially after the fact that Jeff seemed pretty keen on filming The Rake in the woods, it's odd that they'd suddenly stop getting any glimpses of him whatsoever despite him attacking them several times, on camera.
I hate the fact that Slender Man doesn't act threatening in the least. It may be due to their own unique version, but having a central antagonist who just kind of faffs about and runs away or teleports away whenever confronted makes it significantly less scary when he appears. This happens with most vlogs, I notice, and is understandable considering they can't be killing off characters that often, but it still takes away a lot of the tension if none of the protagonists appear to be in any legitimate danger. Even when the main cast members are injured, I never for a moment think they're going to die, simply because none of the antagonists, or even happenings, are threatening or have tension.
Furthermore, I hate it when they have plot lines that get dropped completely. Jeff says that all of them will be wrapped up neatly by the end, and he could very well pull it off, but as it stands there are a lot of loose threads. The plot line with Jessa went nowhere. Did she really die, as everyone seems to think she did? Is she a Slender-Slave, as implied by the 'Congratulations Magus' video? What about the documents involving Doctor Corenthal? That got dropped extremely fast, and seemed like it was used to just stall until the next video came out, frankly. I find it very hard to believe that in a whole storage room full of documents and photos that there would be nothing useful to them at all. The Damsel breakout arc seemed like it would answer some questions and set up an interesting new cast member, but it's done neither of those things, seeing as how Damsel has hardly appeared on camera since then, and she couldn't give them any answers whatsoever.
EverymanHYBRID could always pick up again, and I'm not saying I've lost all faith or that it's terribad or that I'll stop watching, I'm just saying it's definitely decreased in quality since it's early days, and it bothers me to see a series with such massive potential to have so many odd things wrong with it that seem completely avoidable, to me.

I probably should have included things I liked in that post. That kind of made me sound like I don't like anything about it at all. I do enjoy the characters, and they can all act the part pretty well. The main cast is believable, and likeable, which is a main thing wrong with most other series.

To conclude my discontent (and stop editing my post), I'm really offended that Jeff would just blatantly call me out in a setting where people will only agree with him. The people who will see that post are the people who follow him, and the people who follow him are no-doubt fans of his or EverymanHYBRID's. It's an extremely childish act, and I'm sorely disappointed he wouldn't just take it up with me.

Apparently the post in question he was pointing out was a post from the old V.4 thread, in which I expressed that I didn't like that EMH was coming out with merch following MarbleHornets, and I felt like they were just riding on MH's coattails. We debated it for a little while, and then Tim Sutton entered the fray and took Jeff's side.
Apparently they both think I'm some kind of Anti-Merchandise crusader now.
hopefully that tweet means a new entry is soon to come.

I agree with you and your rant on the loose threads they have barely touched on since their introduction. It seems like they are adding way too much content, and no attempts have been made to clear anything up yet. Not to mention, they aren't really capturing my attention, because they are doing what MH was doing for a long time;they don't release interesting content within a short amount of time.
If they release one big video that answers tons of questions, and has tons of scares/Slenderman, then my faith will be restored, but for now, I'll be waiting.
