That still doesn't explain how he edited the shot in and then put it back in the package. I mean, it's a cassette tape, so I don't really see how he could edit something into the tape itself.

I appreciate theories, but please don't take it personally if I pick them apart. After all, where would we be if we didn't question each others ideas?

It started pretty recently, but each video has been linked here as they pop up, so far only by Sublata and me. It's not too TOO popular, but it seems to have take a rise in viewers. Don't blame you for not having heard of it, and it's honestly not the very best, but it's slowly improving.

Even then it would come off as a carbon copy of Blair witch, Cloverfield, & every other shaky cam supernatural documentary movie out there. Hell Slender man already has some Blair witch qualities with the mental link and always knowing where you at and apparently according to some of the Slender man videos he also alters reality to make you appear in the same place you were just walking past which sounds totally Blair witch. The weird symbols, the little things he leaves for victims to find, & his association with the woods & children also doesn't help distance the two. A Tv series similiar to Lost or presented in a documentary type style is the only way to go. I think Slender man works best being done by amateurs though no need for pros.

It just occurred to me that EverymanHYBRID, MarbleHornets, and TJAProjects are supposed to end this year. I feel like the whole Slender Man mythos is going to take a huge blow once they're over.

TJAProjects. They update like once a week, usually, and while the first two videos are kind of bad, it seriously picks up and gets terrifying.

DarkHarvest reminds me a lot of MarbleHornets, just with a lot more character development and ARG elements.

MLAnderson is pretty neat, but it's been taking long breaks between videos, and it kind of just goes in circles a lot.

I liked the start but in the end it just went downhill in my opinion.

Also, I'm watching TJAProjects. It's not as good as I thought it would be. It's not that it's slow, I just feel that it's poorly executed.

So it seems all the big ones are nearing their end. We still have Dark Harvest and MLAndersen0, and who knows how long they'll last.

And it's expected we'll probably see more potentially major Slender Man alternate reality series sometime soon.

With that said, what would you guys want in a Slender Man ARG? For example, same creepiness as Marble Hornets, with a mix of EverymanHYBRID character relation and humor, etc.

All I want is believable characters, good development, a decent plot that adds more to the fiction (I feel TT pulled this off pretty good with the Observer) and a good Slender Man costume.

Although, I know it [i]is[/i] hard to copy my sexiness perfectly.

I believe that once all of the major ones end, the secondary ones (MLA, TJA, DH) will be the main and the 004Steps and things like that will move into the secondary spot. I think that there will always be main ones, and other series will get to take their spots.
