On the earlier discussion of dying slender mythos, of which I am too lazy to quote any specific message,
The only one I've really watched is Marble Hornets. I kept up with EverymanHYBRID for a bit, but I had to switch youtube accounts. When I switched I went to MH and re-subscribed, but ended up neglecting EH. I honestly didn't care for it very much, it started off with a hilariously annoying concept, and then I got bored of it when someone sent them emails looking for test subjects or something. I haven't really cared for anything else. I looked at something else which had a name that I can't recall but lost the link with my old laptop.
I'd think that my ideal ARG would have a slight amount of terror, but not so much that it just gets predictable. "Oh there's going to be someone waiting for them around the cor- Yeah, called it" gets boring. As well as that there should definitely be some parts where they don't do anything TOO out of the ordinary, kind of like EH did when I watched it, so that the people would actually present an opportunity for viewer opinion and a moment to get all the thoughts and information straight. The point to an ARG is to listen to the community, right? Then why not listen to the community? That's really all that's REQUIRED for an ARG. It's even better if they can do it well, maybe call out someone. Everyone loves to be the person that gets mentioned.

There is some really freaky stuff on his channel, but it doesn't make chronological sense and if I were to hazard a guess I would say it's a channel just to show off some effects he's been trying out.

I'm doing Cryptos with a few friends of mine, as I stated, at most, 10 pages ago. I'm more than 100% open to suggestions. I think I'd prefer to be doing an ARG based primarily around suggestions than do something that may not please anyone but me.
